Most of the Iraqi voices have been changed for Alpha. Amman and CATIA helped us out with those. It's our goal to eventually change all BF2 sounds to custom ones. Especially the sucky ones, lol.

may i suggest getting releasing it on newsgroups, its soooo fast for people that paid for newsgroups servers (giganews etc..). just give us a nice NZB file to rock on :)

I've been waiting for this moment for a long time coming now. I dropped BF2142 recently because it basically got sour real fast. I haven't completely dropped BF2 because I still enjoy the feel of flying my helicopters, but I yearn for the scale that DC provided its fans. I also yearn for that skill you needed to perfect before you could compete.

I am playing STALKER right now because I was getting bored online. DCon looks great as did POE2. I'm also waiting for the WWII mod being released this year (hopefully) but DCon has been on my waiting list for some time now..and it's free! :)

Can the dev team make sure the files end up on both gamespot and fileplanet? That would greatly increase my chances of downloading the mod at a great speed, hence being able to play at a quicker pace. Also, this is a blessing, considering my BF2 friends will also be dusting off their BF2 discs so we can once again play and have fun.

I haven't been on these forums in over 6months or so and I am back and have my BF2 re-installed and in perfect working order as soon as I got wind this was on it's way. I have been waiting for this since I knew BF2 was coming out, my friends and I were playing DCON (orig) and wondering how bada** it would be to play this with an "upgrade".

Now it's here and I am soooo excited!!! YESSSSSS!!!!! YAYYY!!!!!!!
Ok, i'm done now. HUGE thanks to the DCON team for bringing it back! My face still hurts from the smile of seeing the video released a few days ago and the rolling tank armadas.

We're as excited as you all that's for sure! I just want to reiterate that we are not affiliated with Trauma or any of the original developers that made Desert Combat for BF1942. We're the same fans of Desert Combat as the majority waiting to dl our mod.

Patiently waiting till Friday when I can pop a cap in someone's A$$!!!
