The 'No Vehicle' option still needs to have some transport vehicles because imagine trying to get off the carrier on maps like Gulf of Oman, Wake Island and Dalian Plant when you have smacktards leave with only 1 person in a boat.

No one will play maps other than Karkand, Mastuur and Sharqi with no transports. All the other maps the flags are too far away.

'Vehicle-lite' option:

• Replace Tanks/APC spawns with Heavy Jeeps
• Replace AA vehicles with Light Jeeps
• Remove Jets
• Replace Littlebirds and Attack Helicopters with Transport Helicopters

OR

'Vehicle-Neutered' option:
Same as above, except all transport vehicles have their guns removed.

lol, they still havn't added OpenAL 1.1 support with either 1.3 nor the BETAs and the X-Fi cards have been out for how long? Oh well, off to the Windows system dirctory to rip off some working OpenAL 1.1 files.

I'm installing 1.4 BETA2 now, sounds like they actually doing a good job listening to the community.

There are in Armoured Fury... He probably meant if "Infantry Only" was being run on an AF map.

Vanilla BF2 maps that have long distances to certain flags and the US get boats to their flags are way underbalanced... The Oilfield one where the PLA are tucked in a mountain area have no means to get to the flagged area, but the US have boats from the carrier to get to the first two flag before we can even get to one... Many of these maps are going to be cumbersome to say the least higher the 16 Person size... Although RtJ was friggin' awesome as IO on anything higher than 32 person

They should just make a default bf2 1.0 patch for teh Sir. Community.
