No problems so far. I haven't played since patch 1.21, just installed 1.22 then 1.3 today. Maps loading faster for me, better gameplay, the game is still fun. I'm very happy that Battlefield2 is still being patched. I can't wait for the other expansion and Bf2142.

Thanks DICE! I hope the next BF game will be using the Crytek2 engine :)

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice... Anyone else have this problem with the server browser?
Click on a server and the ping either goes to 0 or goes to some random insane number and then disappears. EVERY server does it for me.

yup, and where it tells u the details for the server, everything is zero right? same for me. i am getting angry...

I too am not happy with the patch but at least i know where to direct my anger . For all you morons that keep saying EA screwed up, DICE are the programmers not EA. EA is the distributor, they have nothing to do with whats in the patch. Get your facts straight before you slander someones name!

First I would like to say I am glad I quit playing BF2 a month ago. Thats right I finally woke up and realized the truth to what was happening. As for you wootoow. You seem to be the MORON here. EA tells DICE what to do because EA owns DICE FYI. EA is purposely ruining this game so you will go buy 2142. Do a search on the internet for once about EA Games and you will see how they steal others work and are getting sued for it. They are a backstabbing company that just loves the dollar bill. They do not care about you nor anyone else here or on there forums. So, you calling everyone a MORON when in fact you seem to be the EA LoverBoy here so that makes you a MORON.

I tried to use the EA downloader to get the patch. It would not let me download it. It said my IP was not within a specific range.

Is it just me.....or have they made all froms of AA gun far too effective. I am very good in the jets or helis or at least I was.....

b4, 4/5 when you were blown out of the sky it would be by other Jets only......now I cant fly anywhere without being blasted down by various AA fire.

Now it seems like 4/5 times I get killed when in JET, it is by AA.

This patch is really good so far. Not only can I now use ATI drivers 6.3 and 6.4 now and it will not CTD anymore on launch.

I love the vehicle drop; I cannot count the amount of times where I have been stuck by a flag with no vehicles or a slow ass humvee and I need to get somewhere quick. I also already got killed by a vehicle supply drop I ordered on top of myself.

Still exploring it but things seem to be running good.

Wasn't there a word in the changelog stating that the map-zoom bug when in a vehicle is fixed? Do they really test what the fix? I was in a tow and the minimap was like it should be... until I opened the fullmap and closed it... I had to unmount the tow to put back the right zoom to my minimap again... I think this applies to all vehicles. Anyways... nice job dice...
It's just like being able to pick up your C4/Claymores/Mines... it will probably never been fixed...

Kreiky mate if you look to your left you can see a troll popping his head out of his hole, yes folks that is a rare endangered species of troll. They feed on a carnivous diet of flaming and leave a foul smell in the air after they have done their job and gone back into their cave.

I always love the guys who retire from BF2 but they are so dramatically involved(in love?) with it that they love to secretly read it everyday and insert a foul comment under a different username.

Ok, I stated earlier that I had no problems with this patch. i guess i didn't play long enough. I'm getting COD's and the jumpy server menu now. Other than that, no problems! lol
