this is a sort of pointless patch, what squad ever uses DPVs seriously, why do you need a dpv dropped in, and dont say its cause dpvs could be dropped on ppl cause thats just retarted.

ummm a dropped mobile .50cal that can transport members - duh

If people dont use this function to its advantage it is just a noobish folley of their own making.

Amazing....

To be honest, im not one of those ea haters or ea fanboys im pretty much in the moderate range but this patch just plain disgusts me.

I mean they throw in extras NO one ever asked for (well maybe on person but you know what I mean) while they continue to not bother to fix the numerous bugs including CTD, connection bug, red/blue tag bug, and other things....incluidng the incredible lag....

Just UNBELIEVABLE!

Well I have downloaded the patch and It seems a bit more laggy .....the only thing I can say is these patches seem to hurt more than help. And I still can shoot rockets thru tanks and my sniper scope still moves around on its own from time to time.........

So, I wasn't about to post anything about the new patch, but this is just too funny.

I haven't even gotten into the game yet, which is fun in itself. I was left gawking at the server browser and how funny it was to click in the same spot for 3 times ina row, and voila...you get a crazy server ping! It's like DICE/EA truned BF2 in BF: Magic Hour.

I'm pretty darn excited to try out how the game actually works..that is, until I find a server I can actually connect to, and be 100% certain it is the server and not some random other server.

Great job DICE/EA. Oh, and I mean that in the most sincere way. It's great to know people of your stature can still convince people to buy your product.

First I would like to say I am glad I quit playing BF2 a month ago. Thats right I finally woke up and realized the truth to what was happening. As for you wootoow. You seem to be the MORON here. EA tells DICE what to do because EA owns DICE FYI. EA is purposely ruining this game so you will go buy 2142. Do a search on the internet for once about EA Games and you will see how they steal others work and are getting sued for it. They are a backstabbing company that just loves the dollar bill. They do not care about you nor anyone else here or on there forums. So, you calling everyone a MORON when in fact you seem to be the EA LoverBoy here so that makes you a MORON.

EDIT: ...15minutes after having tried to find a server...I finally double click...I get the same thing hitman has just posted. This is freaking sweet.

Well, it's awesome seeing the community and BETA testers really make a difference in how well the game works. They release patches that make things stop working, and we still itch to play. Mmm, irony.

you experienced this also? i was trying to add a server to my favorites and it was jumping all around. i tried sorting by different means and the server still jumped around. i finally cornered that bugger. and now that its in my favorites i dont have to peck at it trying to load in.

Crap I don't know what to do. I am downloading patch now but I don't know if I should install it with all the problems everyone is having. I know that right know it's hard to find servers that are using old patch. Kind of off subject but a question for the gurus I have 1 gig of ram P4 2.4GHZ and ATI 9600 what I have am I going to need to leave all my settings on low? If not what should I turn up and what should I leave the same or should it all stay on low till I build a better computer sorry if that is too dumb of a question I am new to playing games online.
