this is a sort of pointless patch, what squad ever uses DPVs seriously,

You must not play in an orginized leauge. DPVs are WONDERFUL for Jihad jeeps on armor columns and a few .50 cals can keep choppers down all day. They are extremely useful.

If they made the AA more effective, then w00t for EA. It's finally time they nerfed you air whores.

The Jets are now rank though mate....

The F35 which was previoulsy rather frustrating to take out...is now a flying certain death trap.

The Bombers are now far less responsive and practically defenseless against the fighter jets and the Laser Guided missile has dveloped a propensity to swerve away from its target at the last minute...no matter how clean a shot and how long you have had the lock on for...

All jets can be generally plucked from the air like ripe cherries using any assortment of AA gun.

I think the chap is right who reckons that EA are trying to ruin this game so that everyone has to go buy 2142. Well, I wont be geting it and I wont even be getting Armoured Fury afer the dissapointment of the vastly unimaginative Euro Forces. what a White Elephant EuroForces has turned out to be eh?

While I haven't noticed too many issues in-game, I can't believe that they've managed to hose the server browser again. Any time I click on a server and the ping and player information update, the server moves in the list but the highlight stays in the same place. That means that, if you're trying to get into a specific server and you're sorting by ping, it will constantly evade you. I know that other people have mentioned this issue but I'm wondering if it's happening to everyone or just a few. Remember, this only happens when sorting by ping as far as I can tell. So if you sort another way, this doesn't apply to you. Also, a friend of mine noticed a severe decrease in FPS after the patch. I haven't seen any change, however.

Never had a problem with any bf2 patch or game issue. However i'm 1 of the unlucky ones, since installing this patch it's thee OL crash back to desktop error that i see alot of people are having. Can't even be bothered to trouble shoot. Time to move on i guess! Game is a bit stagnant anyhow...

they did this to stop the mods from coming out, they bassically messed with all the mods to prevent them from working, hence we have to play vanilla again.

Arg!!After reading thru 11 pages of how EA has borked yet another patch I've decided to not only d/l it,I'm not gonna touch another game EA has even THOUGHT about producing.Another fine example of Corporate greed ruining things for everyone in the name of profits.Screw you EA.You have gotten my last dollar ever.

Free? Come on man, think about it, how would that make EA/DICE money and why would they want to keep BF2 players interested by offering them what they want?

Oh, and to the guy that brought up the EA article on financial losses: It's not only EA that's losing money, it's the entire gaming market in N.A. right now. Companies like EA are the ones causing the losses, not because of next-gen blah blah, and other financial doo-das; the formula is simple. Make and release a broken game, and you will lose your audience's interest and trust. Have them fork over money for a broken game, or in their case, several times over, and they won't forget.

Ubisoft is starting to take this trend as well, let's just hope they smarten up.

All of those ranked servers sold....and now a new game mode is added (at last) and ppl can't host it.

So who the fuc* told them to take out the part when you can fix the commanders assets while still in the vehicle?

I will not download this patch.

I’ll just play v1.2 till I get I get no servers.

EA/DICE you load of numb nuts, plus when your next BF rubbish comes out I will pass on that.

Has anybody from EA or DICE had anything to say on this matter?

To those who've already installed it: don't restart Battelfield 2 again! Boycott Battlefield 2 for DICE and EA understand that a patch which add bugs isn't tolerable!

I don't wanna wait no ****ing 10 minutes to get on a goddamn server!

WHY is the "pure"/"MD5 hash" icon shown on EVERY server?

BEFORE, I PLAYED ON NON PURE SERVERS ONLY BECAUSE IT DIDN'T TAKE TEN ****ING MINUTES TO GET ON THEM.

I'm OK with jeeps who is crushing me, I'm OK with that, I'm OK with artillery for chinese on wake island all the time, I'm OK with that...
...IF I JUST COULD GET ON A GODDAMN SERVER!

First of all:

- Server browser is knocked up, shows the wrong servers when I click on a server.
- No "pure 0" servers nomore? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit..!

WHY THE HELL DO THE GAME HAVE TO SEARCH MY COMPUTER FOR CHEATS IN ABOUT 7 MINUTES??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm so ****ing mad right now I could kill somebody.
I LOVED THIS GAME AND ITS PATCHES, I THINK IT SOUNDS GOOD WITH THOSE JEEEPY BLEEPY WHO FALLS FROM THE SKY...
...BUT YOU JUST TOOK AWAY MY PLAYABILITY.
