um no leki were looking at the correct logs, you made a accusation against us saying you were kicked, we have looked and found you to be wrong, i wont say you are liar but you are most certainly incorrect.
there are no other logs to look at, we only need to look at the admin logs as it was a claim of a admin kicking you that started this off, i will once again state as fact that at no time have you been kicked by us, if you say that you have then so be it, its your word against ours and we aint gonna loose any sleep over it thats for sure.
but what is unacceptable is that you are posting deflammotory remarks about a server that you cannot backup with any evidence whatsoever, for all we know you have never entered our server and never will.
yet with this thread you believe that you have the right to name us and slag our server off to the whole world.
we can prove you were never kicked, if you cannot prove to us that you were then i suggest you remove our server name from the front of this thread

you not being able to find it in the logs isn't really proof that it didn't happen...you could either not want to see it, its been deleted, looking at wrong thing etc...how would you like me to prove i was banned from your server?...the only thing we see when we get banned is the default "kicked for tking" message and that isn't proof....maybe if a kick reason was given and i had taken a screenshot but that didn't happen.

Infact i have just thought of a way to make you be able to prove that your log files are so extensive. You should at least be able to see me in your logs from my join to your server in the month of january....i now have the exact day i did join your server in january as i have your banner in my logo cache folder. If you can tell me the day then i will believe you have log files going that far back...also you could then look at my disconnect reason which would say i was banned.

Stay away from FRONTLINE FORMATION. Hands down the worst server I ever played on. I got banned about 3minutes into my first round. We were playing Clean Sweep and I got into the backseat of the bomber...the pilot sucked and we died quick. When I respawned I went back to the f15 hanger and was promptly told "stand down Snowman wait your turn" by an admin. I was like, "um, ok it's just you and me in here...do you want to pilot or bomb". He again told me to wait my turn. WTF? It was just us...was his fat ass gonna need BOTH seats? I asked and got kicked....returned for an explanation of my kick and was quickly banned. Their admins are obviously a bunch of downs syndrome afflicted chimps...play at your own risk.

Leki you have to understand that if you got auto kicked for excessive tk'ing then it won't appear in the server logs. You will get the message like You have been banned for excessive teamkilling, or by a sucessful vote, or by an admin decision. That will never ever appear in the server logs.

Also you must understand that the tkpunish system works by accumalating your tk's. They don't have to be in a single round. Its for the time you are connected to that server. If they have it set as default on 3 punishes and then you get kicked, they can be spread out over many rounds.

Over 90% of the emails we have had, have been people getting kicked by the tkpunish system and their names don't appear in the server logs because the server doesn't log these events. When we explain this to them they understand and apologise. I suggest you owe the VETS an apology for making a mistake, it is a common mistake so your not alone. What they need to do is remove the part of the pb reason that says or by an admin decision.

Also when you get auto banned by the tkpunish system, its only for a round. Next round you can join again. I suggest if you want to complain then complain to EA for forcing private ranked servers to run the stupid tkpunish system. Most of us don't want to and would prefer to have a max negative score then when that's reached a player gets kicked.

Lists like these are useless and are only 1 persons opinion. If they are wrong in their "assumption" such as thinking they were kicked by a human admin and not auto admin, then how fair is that on the people who pay for these servers so you can play for free?

i understand what your saying but i was alone at the flag...just me and the admin in the area and im very observant of who gets killed, if i TK etc so i can definitely say i had not tked anytime recently and there was no kick votes on me (not like they are ever sucessfull either)

So in other words, these vets.____ characters could say anything they like regarding his ban, and Leki would still be banned regardless.

The only thing I can say is....
Do you (nonadmins) know how hard it is to keep the server clean?
The messages are hard to keep up, in the mean time you try to have fun play the game. And yes sometimes admins make wrong judgements, smile about it and leave/join other server.
Even good admins make mistakes and before you know it a player is crying all over the place on this forum or the serverforum.

I say thanks you all serverowners and all admins to let people play on their server at no cost :)

i have been looking around and most of the admin haters are in clans with no server. good clans..:laugh:
a clan who PAY for their own server (its not cheap iether) can do what they like with it. and it is not easy keeping it running good and clean. vets have around 35 members and if all played at the same time an admin would have to clear the server out. usualy an admin not ingame does the work at vets members requests via TS, the ones punted are those that push in when others are waiting for vehicles/planes, Tkers and ones causing TK's, racial taunts,and the usual rules.only blatent cheats get banned, via punkbuster.

this is apart from the INF server we ran (now off, not allowed), bans were given out for any vehicle use or using commander.as punts were useless as they would come in and do it again.

vets members came here because they feel their server is a good one, not to lie about some one getting banned, that is not the issue. no one realy cares if a player thinks he is banned especialy one who has been banned more than anyone else ive heard of, the real sad part he is/was not all he needs to do is try joining it. some here think the server logs have been altered,LMFAO

allright, get in the server so i may cut ur head off

Thanks very much for this thread.

I'm still pretty new to the game and I want to play in a squad and have that team balance of different soldier classes rather than have some kind of free for all that i've experienced so far. So I'll be checking out some of the suggestions of servers to try.

I haven't played for a few days now. Last game was when someone on my own side called Madness 88 kept driving at me and running me over in his buggy when I spawned. On the fifth occasion I planted a load of anti vehicle mines and locked and loaded. He spotted me and started driving at me again.

Just before I was able to get my retribution I got disconnected from the server. I know its only a game but I was so annoyed at that.

Well i can asuure you fellas we run a respectable an fair play server that we are trying to get fired up again after a bandwidth hack, we run alot of the tired ole strike and penn, but recently added map rotations per poll requests from our site. Now that were no longer in the top 5 bf2 servers (because of the temp shutdown) servers sits emty till our clan sits there to populate, but if you would like and respectable and enjoyble gaming atmospshere, drop by the 64 man ranked @ 67.18.131.170, 90% of the time were in there with "fair play" admins, if theres no admin on duty, one of us will immediately log (during gameplay) to resolve problems and situations. No rules, except 1, respect for other players . tk'ing spam cusring ect, all monitored and dealt with immedaitely, the only way you can catch a ban, is if theres no resolving the problem or cooperartion of the respect of our players and communtiy.

As for this post with the list, excellent list , well put together. Keep on fraggin'

If you refering to me as an "admin hater" then your wrong as i don't hate admins that run a server right. Although my clan doesn't run a bf2 server we had bf1942 and bfv servers awhile back and also used to run servers for lots of other games for other clans.

I'm sure if i joined your server now it wouldn't say i was banned just as if i joined the other servers i was banned from, but i wouldn't join now because of the first ban and how the servers are admined. Sure i have lots of kicks and bans in my stats but thats not my fault, it just shows how bad the server admins are for kicking and banning as if you asked anyone that plays bf2 with me they will say i'm a good player that helps the team, not some Tking rule breaker.
