You mean a list with information from absolutly unknow people. Perhaps they say the truth. Perhaps they lie for revenge, envy, hate . Perhaps they are not innocently. Perhaps perhaps perhaps (yes i love the song from the TVSerie Coupling ) .

British server, threw some c4 on an admins APC, he starts firing at me so i run and jump about 3 times to get away and then detonate killing him.....Banned.

Thanks for the good servers, will have to try them out at some point.

Just like to say though, the above comment, although heavy-handed by the admin, would have got you a warning on my server - that's bunny hopping in my book.

uhm no.. EA UK servers are limited to max pings of 200ms.
as far as admins go they give simple rules on how to get an admin if you complain about the lack of them, then you must be to lazy to bother(there are several ways and quite easy to do).
majority of the servers i play on all have good playings you hav dumb luck :p

He must have bad luck. Most players seem to have broadband now, and on EA UK servers, players' pings are usually 15-50, with "guest" US players at 100-150ms. Players with pings of 200ms or more are rare and they're auto kicked. Admins are easy to get hold of, but are usually unnecessary, because there's an auto TK kick limit (4?), which isn't even per round, it accumulates over several rounds.

I go with leki, and I think he has got me a serveral times. If you're good and frustrate others, chances are you might get that admin guy who is having a bad day. I just believe there are some bad admins/servers out there and a some more frustraited admins who cant bite the bullet. One Waco TX was real bad for me, I have only one kick. As for logs, REMEMBER Watergate. Things can and will vanish when someone wants it to. Some admins really don't care about much except their score. I like this game, bad players can damage it's fun but some admins can ruin it even when you're playing by the rules.

yes a full search has provided nothing, either as leki or Leki][DowN.
believe it or not our ban/kick list isnt that extensive so a name search isnt hard to do, we dont kick/ban for any reason other than acting like a prat or ignoring all admin orders to stop stealing team vehicles etc etc,
any player who can kill us repeatedly is more likely to get recruited not banned!!

we are a professional server with mature gamers only and all our admin know that every kick/ban has to be logged/justified just in case someone does complain.
the fact is that you are not on the servers admin lists at all, the only thing i can imagine for a kick that was not admin controlled is becoming idle for more than 5 mins or excessive team killing, if that happens and you get a negative score the server will auto kick without any input from an admin. and may explain why both of us are correct, you have not been delibratley kicked by a member of our admin at any time which will create a log report.

I wrote in my first post exactly what i was doing at the time of the ban and can assure you it wasn't for any of the reasons you listed. I also think we are talking about different log files....the ones i mean are the server log files that log everything.....for example if i was on your server and said "LMAO nice shot" then it would be logged along with lots of other info like people being disconnecting/joining etc.......to have logs of this type going more than 3 months back would have to be very large on a popular server!

i think anything over 100ms is bad....the EA servers say (UK only) and if your from UK then your ping should be below 100 (unless you have some really bad ISP maybe). having to leave the game to try find an admin is not a very good solution...i was talking about having an admin on at the time overseeing the game.

um no leki were looking at the correct logs, you made a accusation against us saying you were kicked, we have looked and found you to be wrong, i wont say you are liar but you are most certainly incorrect.
there are no other logs to look at, we only need to look at the admin logs as it was a claim of a admin kicking you that started this off, i will once again state as fact that at no time have you been kicked by us, if you say that you have then so be it, its your word against ours and we aint gonna loose any sleep over it thats for sure.
but what is unacceptable is that you are posting deflammotory remarks about a server that you cannot backup with any evidence whatsoever, for all we know you have never entered our server and never will.
yet with this thread you believe that you have the right to name us and slag our server off to the whole world.
we can prove you were never kicked, if you cannot prove to us that you were then i suggest you remove our server name from the front of this thread

yes some of the servers say UK-Only but you still get people from different countrys playing there :p
and you dont really hav to leave the game to fetch an admin, smart way alt+tab to minimize bf2, open their website and goto the live help (or Qn on irc) either way its not overly complicated.

While I respect the effort that you have put into it Leki, I'm not sure that this thread is really going to change where I go to play a good game. I like to go on my own experience (and especially with the VET server I've got to disagree with you, I played on there a lot before I joined a clan and never had any problems).

I'm not much for boycotting a server just because someone else told me that it was not a good server. It sounds to me like you have some bad luck all around when it comes to servers, so I'm not sure that your play is indicative of what happens to other players on the same servers.

When i first played BF2 the only server i went on was VETS Open, they have fair admins and Respect all players who go into there server.The only bad experience i have had on a Vets server is a vets player called Tuco who moaned alot .

Overall Vets servers are clean and very fun to play in....

They should make a sticky with all the good servers. Not the bad, since you can't hang out a server because one person had a bad experience there.
