2x3.0 p4 processors
4x 512 ramsticks
7900gt bfg oc
sound blaster extreme mb
errr. and some other stuff i think. lawl jk

im sorry but when i made that post i was ultra phyked about getting my new system and i didnt have a lot of time so i couldnt give a very detailed post.

Thanks, nice setup. New system, so I could add a fresh install of Windows to that list also.
Two P4's. That is nice but BF2 does not multithread. I would think something in your installation (software).

I may be to early to tell for certain but after patch 1.3 the lag I had when piloting a choper in SF is gone. :banana: :banana: :banana:

Edit: still same bad lag when on some maps.

Get more ram, or when you reboot your computer, open up SF/Vanilla, close and then re-open.

Get more then 2GB's of ram???? Open and close the same program???? Seems Patch 1.3 has fixed the problem.

But, and everyone read carefully. To make Patch 1.3 work properly this is the trick. When BF2 is booting up, you stand back from your computer desk and stick your left foot in, then you stick your left foot out and you stick your left foot in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn your self around. That’s what it's all about.........

Follow this to the letter and you will have a bug free BF2 experience. Enjoy :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
