I myself will play mods, but I will not be so much indulged into it. I am more in favour of the points system. It is very good experience to have new rankings and all those medals which no existing FPS games offer so far apart from BF2. It is the most clever value-added feature. Besides, BF2 gives you the feel of modern combat. BF1942 is fun, FH2 which will be released eventually will also be fun but I will not play that many hours as I do to BF2, once it is not hooked up with the ranking system.

Kids playing games is in a way, good to their health. Confidence and the satisfaction by sucess is a key to their habit development. As for myself, it helps me to re-build my reflex at times when I feel my reflex is really slow. So shooting games in a way, is a good habit.

ha ha, i hear you. i end up sweating at the end of most rounds, whether i am doing well or not. the game is definitely tense for me, and i take teamwork/squadwork seriously, especially w/ a good commander.
