DUKE NUKEM 3D.....

Best all around game EVER. It was really the innovator of current games, in my opinion. And the fun factor was surreal. Online play with it against your buddy, (modem to modem or pay to play online services like ten) were, well it was incredible. Although i have played some sweet games, DUKE NUKEM was without a doubt the best.
In fact alot of apogee and 3drealms stuff was extremely fun.
Wish they would finish DukeNukem 4 ever. But i dont think that is ever gonna happen.

I like strategy games, so starcraft, heroes of might and magic are some of my favs.

First person shooter nothing like the original doom 3d.

Seriously, World of Warcraft isn't that bad. Its just hard too keep up with a 'serious guild' if you have anything else to do with your life. I also want to try spore. I don't know when it is going to be released but when it does I'm going to grab a copy. There is also a MMOG that is coming out next year called APB. Picture GTA as a MMOG like BF2. SHould be pretty sweet. I still love the old GTA2 and GTA VC.

This seems to be a fairly popualr thread. So I've narrowed it down to FEAR, COD 2 and CS Source. Which and why? I can afford most likely only 1 so any help would be splendid.

Splinter cell chaos theory. I love the co-op but single player missions are fun to.

I would not get any of them:laugh:

F.E.A.R is ok for a couple of hours then it gets boring

COD2 is just ****

CS:S is also crap and full of cheats

If i was you i would go for SWAT4 i have only played the demo but it was pretty good

I can't belive i forgot to include SWAT 4. On my current rig, P4 1.8GHz, 256RAM,
Intel Extreme Graphics GPU, guessing its rubbish, and i could play SWAT (the original i think) and it was terribly fun so its a definate along with BF2 and, I'm leaning towards COD2 unless suggested otherwise.

I really liked FEAR if I had to choose from that list. The others I have not played. If you can find it, Worms Armageddon was alot of fun too.

Most games listed have Demos. Dont buy your pig in a bag. Check them out, it wont hurt you.

One thing I can guarantee you about them.

SWAT4 aimbots generally increase your kill number around 5% (total failure as a hack). Its wallhack is rubbish. It has cheats that will make you into a "walking tank" but admins catch those quickly. The only thing that still is, very functional cheat is the "radar hack". But in the end, if youre a skilled player, hackers will nto ruin your fun.

You wont see guys running around capping 10 headshots in a row as in CS

And the Demo is a 60 minute trial, with no online capability unfortunately. Single player will give you a taste, but thats about it.

You gonna be screwed. SWAT4 is pretty hungry on the requirements side. Youll experience low FPS and lag. 512 RAM wouldnt hurt.

I would Seriously recomend Elderscrolls 4: Oblivion if you have a decent PC. I have a P4 3.0 w 2gb of ram and an X600. Because of my Gfx card, I'm only able to run the game on extreme low settings. Even on low, the game looks amazing, and has over 200+ hours of gameplay. The Land that the game takes place is over 16sq km.
