I don't play BF2 that much anymore. I think, I'm getting borred of it.. So when there's nothing else to do, than to do a bit of gaming, I prefer Counter Strike: Source and Swat4. :)

For the perfect LAN, I have Need for Speed: Most Wanted and GTA: San Andreas.

Call of Duty 2, I haven't played for months. The same with Hidden & Dangerous 2.

Lots o great games out there,quite a few have been mentioned already,if you want a great gta clone thats a bit less cartoony I have to recommend Mafia.

Man, that game has some atmosphtheric set pieces,especially the shoot out in a church with some hoods.

Watch out for the over lively tommy gun tho...

Its a class act.

The good thing about getting a new pc that rocks...Is that you can get any game out there and you know it can handle it

My second favorite game, has to be, Half Life 2, and/or Source engine games (Day of Defeat: Source, Dystopia mod', Empires mod').

At the moment I am currently playing a load of games though. Downloading lots of demos recently, none of which made much of an impression.

These are old games, so don't flame me:

1. Starcraft
2. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
3. Splinter Cell: Double Agent (When it comes out, I can't wait for it!)
4. Probably F.E.A.R. Although I haven't played it, from what I've heard it's very good.

F.E.A.R. (Great fps game, multiplayer is fun especially unarmed attacks )
FarCry (really good single player, multiplayer is alright)
SOF2/1 (SOF1 is fast like Q3) (SOF2, had it since 2002 only played MP, great)
Doom3 (really good game, MP isn't the best though, dl mods like LMS)
COD 2 (Played the SP its good, multiplayer is pretty good)
Quake 4 (Single player is good, multiplayer is where its at if your a Q3 fan)

Haven't played Oblivion but heard nothing but good comments.

I would include CS etc, but I haven't been able to play them for 7 months due to Valves incompetence.

I'm sure there are other games but Oblivion has me by the balls.

Not only can you play it, you can fairly easily mod it.(depending on severity)

Why people dissing WoW? I don't play it, but millions pay $15 amonth to do so.

I know we love BF2 but sometimes I need a break from all the fast break twitch and wanting to choke team mates out on pub servers.

In this way, I have found Guild Wars a great game. Beautiful graphics, a cool skill system that is almost like the card game magic i.e. build a deck.

And as far as mmorpg's go it's free. Also of all the MMORPG's out there I would think that it would appeal most to FPS players because of the person vs. person team play that's involved. Once you get all your weapons and skills that you need you drop into a myriad of arenas to take on other players.

Check it out. It's great complimentary game to BF2.
