Wow, this is a dumb thread. If 2142 is a ripoff of C&C, then I guess all of the current WW2 games are just ripoffs of any original ones. Same goes with any other game. Everything is a "ripoff" of something else. If you don't like 2142, don't buy it. Can't get any simpler than that.

that is just the point. People would like them to fix the game that is out now, than be working on a new one. They shouldn't have released a game that was not 100% in the first place.

It's unrealistic to expect PERFECTION from any product on any market, especially something as complex as a top-of-the-line computer game. When was the last time you bought a perfect, and I mean PERFECT, product in ANY category? Wilson tennis rackets unravel, Toyotas break down, Gucci suits rip if your 4$$ is too fat. Perfection is a pipe dream concept, it doesn't exist in reality, and especially in retail sales!

Considering the game is still not "100%" today, that means it would've been delayed until at least April 2006. Is that what you would've preferred instead?
