Sing it! This is what I've been saying since the 2142 trailer came out and people kept shouting 'gay mechs'. The game looks cool but we'll just have to wait and see.

then making those Expansion Packs.

Umm... maybe better support from EA. Instead of Making new games they could be makin better patches that dont screw up even more ****. And fix the problems that have been around for way too long. Even if my sig has no effect on anyone I could care less cause its my opinion. The game should come out like the summer of 07 or somthin at least.

But your sig says you're boycotting BF2142 so you can support the modders. I'm confused.

Like giving more time to modders so they can release their mods. So we can enjoy bf2 and all the mods for a longer time. Becuase even though alot of ppl say they hate 2142 I think alot of ppl will still buy it. Therefore cutting this community down alot. Thats justs my opinion on what might happen.

Edit: plus I think the mod community can address problems alot faster and efficiently than EA and dice can.

This is easily the most retarded argument used to defend game companies. Could I or anyone else here design/produce a better game? That's debatable. Could I actually write the code for a better game? Hell no. Want to know why? BECAUSE I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL COMPUTER PROGRAMMER! This is what these guys do for a living, they should be able to do a competent job of it.

If your car breaks down what do you do? You take it to a mechanic to be fixed (unless of course you are one yourself, but for the sake of argument let's say you aren't). Now what happens if you go to pick up your car and find out that not only did they not fix the original problem, but they broke something else? Are you just going to say "It's ok, I couldn't have done it any better myself."?

EA is a massive company with a massive payroll. They are making a new game...... WOW they make new games like they are going out of fashion!
Just becuase they are making a new BF game does not mean they are still not addressing BF2 issues. There would have been a HUGE team working on making BF2, now its done only a small percentage will be working on patches and stuff. What will the rest be doing???? You guessed it, making a new game!
Stop whining about the game you love and play for hundreds of hours. And let them get on with what they do best. Make great games!

If they didnt make great games you would NOT be here posting in the first place :p
