hey guys, jw, how mne ppl r going to buy ea's
new follow up game in the bf series...
Personally i think it looks absolutely retarded and EA
is just tryin to cash in on the future shooters market.
Another thing... y launch it so close 2 bf2? i mean bf2
is like not even a year yet (or barely a year) and 2142
is launchin (if on time) this fall... personally bad choice i think
on ea since people still havnt boughten bf2

I just don't care, retard or not, if the game comes out, and it looks good in reviews and stuff , I will buy it, it's that simple .

I don't think so. Really, I will have to try it out first, but I think Quake Wars will be getting my money this time. But again, I will have to try it out and see.

This game is full of hypocrites. If all the people that say stupid things like he does were telling the truth, you would never see anyone saying those things on these forums.

Back to 2142, I will definitly buy it if the demo is good. I have pretty high hopes for 2142 and Quake Wars.

Yeah I'll buy it, can just imagine someone like Blazin.UK buying it as soon as it hits stores, installing and playing for like 3 days straight to get the lead on the leaderboard.

I am not going to buy a MOD, thats what it basically is because it uses the same engine that BF2 has.

I will buy it if for nothing else then to just own a copy. But I will give it a try and if the game play is good then who knows, maybe it will be a good game. Yes alot of people say EA is the anti-christ etc, but we still play don't we.

One can only blame ones self for buying the game and the add-ons then. Do I agree with all the things they do? Heck no! The point I am making is it is life so deal with it. That is why we we are a free country (USA) so that we "CAN" complain about things.

Anyways, back to the game. Ya I think the preview video and pics looked cool. Will it ever replace BF2 in my heart? I doubt it!

Personally, I love games that have a long-term reward, such as the medals and ranks on Battlefield 2, on source my favourites was full of WC3 mods, says it all. If it has long term rewards, i.e an RPG theme somewhere in it, defenitely getting.
