If I am trying to cap a flag, and someone deliberately walks up and shoots me in the face, I'll punish. If I know it is accidental, I let it slide. I'm all about the page up man. I wish I could get all the n00bcake players visiting our server to stop punishing for accidents. May have to end up turning punish off.

I used to be nice when it came to punishing and forgave, but out in the real battlefied[battlefield 2 anyway] theres no mercy so i shall give none back.

You got teamkilled and punished 33 times? Damn man, I think they were just team killing you for the hell of it after the 2nd time...Maybe they wanted you to leave but you just could not take the hint. If that was my server, I would have kicked and banned your ass after the 3rd punish, probably have given admin to the guys killing you too...LOL!

i punish only if the other person does not say he is sorry ! or was intentional tk for vehicle

I was clearly throwing grenades at this jeep last night to kill the guy who was behind it...after 3 nades someone ran into it just as I threw again...so killed my team...they punished me...he was standing there watching me throw them, but still found it enough reason to punish...these people are pathetic.

Screw punishing...except like others said - if it is just for a vehicle, then yeah, but everything else? silly...

If someone TKs or punishes you, the best thing to to is write their name down.

Then, make a new account called "remembermebitch??" find them playing on BF2S.com and just TK the **** out of them

LMAO, you know I've known quite a few people who've actually seeked out their TKer and hounded them mercilessly for the rest of the round. Personally, I'm not gonna stoop to their level, though I have been known to shoot them in the foot if they intentionally TKed me, lol.

My policy is:

Wait awhile for a sorry or something if it wasn't for a vehicle. Even if they were wreckless but say sorry I forgive. It's just being polite even if it is a game.

If it was for a vehicle I punish

If it was my fault like I didn't see them driving or a happened to charge when they set a nade off I don't punish.

After I've waited I check their rank, if they're a low rank I let it go. They're learning the game and the last thing they need is people punishing them cause they haven't learned the skins etc.

If it was a high rank and they were wreckless I might punish depending on my mood and if they seem to be a teamplayer or not. More often than not I forgive.

We have a curteosy rule on our server: Please don't punish for accidental teamkills or for your own fault.

This is there to show how we expect players to act. I haven't ever kicked anyone for it.

However now we run a tkpunish annoucement script. When somebody punishes someone else it globally announces it to everyone on the server and looks like this:

Player A punishes Player B for a teamkill (Player A has 1 punish 0 forgives)

If we notice a player with a high number of punishes and 0 forgives, we will warn them for tkpunish abuse. This has seemed to reduce the amount of punishing happening.
