WHY, oh why, do you punish for teamkills??????

I'm so used to playing with clanmates (all mid twenties or older) like myself who think punishing for a TK is childish that whenever I go into a public server I'm still ****ed that I get punished!

Honestly, I think they should have servers that only allow adults in them because I'm convinced only kids would punish for accidents.

Seriously, WHY do you punish? Please, this is just beyond my grasp!

Yeah, nice if ppl could prove they're older and play in some special servers. Maybe some kind of confirmation by creditcard of somthing?

That is technically cheating the system.

Yeah, nice if ppl could prove they're older and play in some special servers. Maybe some kind of confirmation by creditcard of somthing?

I hate how people always think that "all" younger individuals are immature, I'm 14 years old, and I hate how people start to act like idiots.

Never punish, unless someone kills me for a vehicle.

Why punish? Because they deserve it and the the voting system is atrocious!!! If I get TKed more than a couple times the tard deserves to be punished and or kicked from the server!

See, that's BS. Why do they deserve it? If you ignore a car flying by and decide " I can't wait for him to pass" does the driver deserve it for your stupidity? If you run across a friggin' runway and get TK'd does the pilot deserve it for your stupidity? If you get between two tanks fighting and get TK'd does the driver deserve it for your stupidity? If you decide a helicopter landing for repairs is a good time to get beneath it does the pilot deserve it for your stupidity?

Bottom line is that unless it was INTENTIONAL, YOU, not them, but YOU are to blame. So YOU deserve it!

when there are no admins around the punishing is necessary!! if there is a bastard TKing on purpose who will kick him if not the system... just think about it... it has its purpose but sometimes it can be realy annoying... just ignor it

In a normal round you dont get 4 punishments unless your are holding vehicles or shooting careless... Anyone who has more than 4 stuped TKs AIR deservers to be kicked and let the other (noobs) to play.

Have you ever flown? Often? It's completely unavoidable that you WILL tk.

Just this last week I was playing with a clanmate, we were on opposing teams, he shot me down and my wreckage landed on a jeep with three of his teammates in it, killing all three. He got credited with THREE teamkills all at once for something he had ZERO control over. Did he deserve to be punished for that? Absolutely not, but he was.

You stating that getting 4 TKs IAR is careless or whoring is nonsense. It's really easy. Fly a plane, drive a tank or apc, hell even drive a car! Sure, it's hard for a sniper to get 4 tks IAR, but for a pilot, driver, tanker, commander, or just about anyone else it's real easy.

Throw a grenade, for instance. Do you have any idea how many times teammates will hear "Grenade!!" and STILL run right where it was thrown??

IMO, if you get TK'd, and it was not on purpose, then YOU are at fault. You are punishing for your own stupidity.

If I get a TK punish from anything airborne on my team from a missle I swap teams, especially chopper pilots.

If I can't swap teams I'll withdraw air support for the chopper, normally I try to hit any position he is in and look out for enemy fighters picking him up, they punish I go on strike :)

It works well if you type 'Attention all enemy fighters and ground forces air support has been withdrawn from our attack chopper team please feel free to have a field day'

No, is not cheating, you can run a server with it off, EA just recomend to run the servers with it on, . so is not obligatory
with ff off nobody can tk you for a vehicle..

I never punish for anything other than an intentional TK... I expect to be killed by things that my teammates have little control over. Being run over by a vehicle at some time is a given. I drive alot and know how hard it is to avoid ppl. I also realise that ppl running in front of you is not total stupidity on there part. Your field of view is such that you just dont see the tank or jeep moving in the same direction that your traveling.
The majority of my TK's are the result of the red / blue tag bug..and.a bug i get quite often..the NO TAG BUG. I hate that one the most because it puts me in a position of fire fast and take the TK chance or wait till i can recognise the uniform,,wich usually results in my getting killed. I've learned to laugh those situations off. The only TK punishes that really burn my *ss is the idiots who jump out of the tanks top gun as soon as i get into a battle.
9x's out of 10 I end up running him over..an 9x's out of 10..I get punished.
To that I say..GROW THE F**K UP!!
