If there was decent pilot in a J10 in the last patch I couldn't shoot them down, if I shot them down I thought they must have been fairly bad. Now... well I have shot down a few (that I thought were good), one I had to hunt by escorting our bomber round the map on Daqing, he got a bit too greedy and boom he was down.

The flying takes less skill I actually 100% agree, but as I've said the game balance wasn't right for the 60 odd other players on the server.

Lets say your on a server and your a better pilot, I join in the last patch over three rounds ten dogfights:-
10-0 to you
10-0 to you
10-0 to you

Now it's
9-1
8-2
6-4

Well take your pick from them, it's not 5-5 though, it's not that random. In the last patch although I'd keep going at it, heck if your taking 10 kills off me your not taking 30 kills off the ground, but most pilots just left, carnage follows.

Maybe I'm say above average pilot so for me it's still a challange maybe for the top tier 5% it's too boring now, I don't know. I do know that if my team is contesting the front AA point on Dalian plant, or getting onto the beach on Oman I'm with them 100% before... well it didn't matter.

Also with you on the choppers, very raw deal they had in the last patch.

Video doesnt work for me, I click download and it goes along all fine, at about 50~70% it just stops downloading, it says its still downloading at like 80kb/s but it just continues to drop without me actually getting the file. I've tried it 5 times now!

I agree that the J-10 is slightly overpowered, but once again your video is totally biased.

At no point during that game, are you ever pursued by a skilled F35 pilot. If I was on USMC during that round, I would have acknowledged pretty quickly that YOU were the reason we were getting owned, and I would have gotten up in the air and taken you down eventually. Now, assuming that the server doesn't have some lame no base raping rule, I would have proceeded to completely dominate your airfield, until my ground troops made their way to that flag and capped it.

You seem to be in the habit of posting videos that showcase YOUR skills, but completely ignore the fact that those things are not that easy when any kind of skilled resistance is present.

Just to be clear, I am not bashing your skill as a pilot. I know that you're one of the best out there. But any mediocre pilot can put up a performance like that when he is met with ZERO resistance. It's like playing in single player mode.

I would really like to see you post a video where you are actually being attacked by people who know what they're doing. In fact I'll help you out, next time you feel like making a video, grab me on Xfire and I'll jump on the server with you.

Wargimp, why do you feel the need to tear apart PW in all of his topics?

The F35 v J10 really isn't that much of an issue to me anymore, since manuevering barely matters post patch. Sometimes I do even better in the F35 because PLA doesn't have a phalanx and it has 600(?) vulcan bullets vs. The J10's 300(?). Therefore I can stay around longer. I went 60:0 with the JSF35 yesterday on wake. Both teams have extremely easy kills like US in boats or chinese in jeeps/AA. Getting big KTD doesn't show any skill, and PW isn't saying he has skill(although he does) he's saying the lack of skill required to be good anymore. He's saying in a satirical way that jets are easier than ever to whore.

I've already proven time and time again that I'm absolutely impossible to shoot down while in a J-10. Even if you're twice the pilot I am skill wise, it wouldn't matter one bit. Since 1.2 I have yet to be shoot down by an aircraft while piloting a J-10.

This wasn't an extraordinary round for me. In fact it was a poor round for me as I'm normally above 80 kills on Wake. This video didn't take 20 rounds before I got it right, but rather the first attempt at filiming it came out like this. Every single round where I fly the J-10 on a 64 player server I end up with 60-90 kills and at the most one death from something like colliding with another plane or a UAV drone. The U.S. team can do absolutely nothing to stop me. However if DICE was to balance to airplanes handling that'd be a different story, as I'd actually have to fear the potential of another skilled pilot getting on my tail and shooting me down.

I still hunt for this guy occasionally, he's changed his game name which is making it somewhat difficult. He was in our (pre-patch) server as |ccc|Planewhore a few times quite awhile back and myself and another buddy ran him off by blowing him from the sky a few times, that is if we could sneak one into him as he IS a JUMPER. Meaning if you do slip in behind him and get off a good shot he will bail before being killed.I guess thats a good thing for some people I myself think its a cheesy tactic but to each his own to protect a K/D ratio. How bout posting a gamename so that a another good pilot can locate you and see what you got now days.
