been saying for some times these things (cheats) are out there and got flamed for being a whiny ADMIN
so, to be fair, we made an informal clan rule
we document all our bans, and most of our kicks
and unless 'emergency' we do not ban unless at least 1 sr admin has confirmed
and the jr admins ban only lasts an hour

reference to the gent that said - only way to improve games is for admins to keep a clean server
well - we sure have been trying - and are trying even harder now
We even contacted our server hoster to make sure our Punkbuster was still installed and opertating OK
even last night - all of our memebers had experssed =
"what the he[[ is going on here - are we the cheater magnet?"

we documented all we saw, just in one day, and will send this list to EA/PB to confirm if these are bannable events
(the list is quite significant, ie long)

and ref: can only have aimbot in certain assault weapons - nope even missles, hellfires, bombs - seen it many times

we have several players with officer rank
who have been playing long enough to recognize normal situations and when we yell WTF in game - you know something is odd

the hardest thing is net code
you see a weapon fly by (missle, bomb, etc)
and 3 seconds later you get killed = ok bad lag code - even if we all have pings under 100 = ok once or twice every game = we learn to live with it

only once did we suspect a high ranker of cheating
ie
usually someone with 4 stripes or less

sure 1 or twice in a game
why not?
but when the whole server is screaming over and over for admin to kick someone
- well - you get the idea

for those that have NOT seen any cheats -
well, why are you all so pompous to say
"if IIIIIIIIIIII did not see it,it MUST not exist!"
you are either lucky or non-oberving

so, back to my original post on this some time ago
what are we admins to do?
it is enough of a pain to be a normal admin
takes away from alot of our own personal playing time
and
as admins, if we are playing in game
it is bad enough to get killed in games
but getting killed while trying to hide somewhere while doing admin duties - just so the balance of players can have an enjoyable experience is getting more and more tedious

is there a solution?

I believe that hack, pertaining to your screenshot is Punk'd. Use it on a pb server and you will be banned by punkbuster. In fact i think its a hardware and cd key ban, if im not mistaken.

That's MSXsecurity. He tells his customer his DETECTED hacks are undetected, his hacks include spyware too

Nobody releases public aimbots for BF2 and if there was an undetected one released, PB would have it detected in the next couple days

I have noticed a couple really really "lucky" shots in the past few days but I chalked it up to just that... luck. It wouldn't suprise me if there was a new hack out though. It seems impossible to escape this garbage nowadays. Tools like PB certainly help but it will never completely eliminate cheaters.

qwerty qwerty qwerty there is a aimbot/recoil/wall hack around it got released 2 weeks ago,FACT
i know this as ive already stated in a earlier post because i have the hack sitting on my pc an no its not installed,
i registered with a site (inwhich im not goin to mention so dont ask) that has all the hacks on there an they keep me up to date with new hacks in which i forward to pb.
as i said in a earlier post i look out for most hacks as im aadmin in are clan server so it all ways helps to know what your lookin for.
an for pb to fix the problem it just dosnt happen over night it takes days or weeks rember they have to reprogram counter measures t ostop it workin an make sure it dosnt conflict with how the game runs ie bugs.
an the hack that has been knockin around now for approx just over 2 weeks.
an also this aimbot is on a public site!
if theres any thing out to do with games i promise you,you can find it if you look in the right places or just search hard enough.
im from england an my uselly day consists of playin bf2 at 17.00 to 23.59 midnight then from midnight i search for bf2 updates/news/hacks/exploits.bugs/clitches an other various things an i uselly do other pc things as well which i wo'nt mention :P
then i go bed about 4 in the morning so most of the time i find new an intresting stuff to do with bf2.
the only things ive never bothered to search for is any thing to do with sf as i dont like it compared to bf2.
an yes i do have a part job before any body says my life revolves around bf2 i just dont like other peps spoilin my fun when ive paid for it!

lol, maybe EA should have "Sting" operations where they go to sites with known hackers, have a dummy account and ask for a hack, take it, see how it gets past PB, and fix the hole. Oh yea, and bust the hacker.

i agree but the only problem is the hardware ban is eayer to get around im sorry to say tryed an tested on a friends pc due to the fact that he didnt update pb an it picked up the old pb running an gave him a hwb we sent emails explaining this but the reply we got was utter crap things like pb couldnt pick out what was different in his game so they had to hwb it an that theres was nothing we/they could do to change,
we both worked in a pc hardware shop put are brains together an tryed different things to un ban his pc,
it took us 1 week to figure out an it was very simple.

Secondly, I agree with the initial poster. I have been playing less and less because I am tired of getting dropped with a single shot by a guy at 250 yards who is facing the wrong direction as he is halfway down to prone the INSTANT I come around a corner. I am also frustrated with the total abandonment of squad tactics since the 1.2 patch. Every game I seem to join now will either have 5 squads with two guys in them, or 1 locked squad and no others. But I digress....

I know what you are saying. But once they stop the claymoore spamming, then things will get back to normal. Everyone (including me here) is getting thier vet explosives badge while it's easy. There I said it... It's easy right now.

Just be glad the hacking will never be as bad as CS:S where most people have recoil and wall hacks.

Yes hacks exist and if you dont think so your a fool seeing through walls, no fog, no sky, and crosshairs put onto your monitor.

Some people like to put a red dot on thier monitor when they play anti tank so they dont have to aim with the missle.

This hack does it for them and i know they exist cause i have a friend that uses them i refuse to cheat what fun is in it but he does and ive seen it in action.

Not to mention on Karkand i was on top of the Suburb roof defending the flag and i got sniped from a guy on top of the Square roof and we all know you cannot see that far because of the fog yet he shot me with 0 problems, which means he had fog off.

It sucks that people do in fact use these cheats but it makes me feel all the better i hold my own and compete without such tools or aids.

And like someone above stated with uav and spotting ect you dont need such things, just because you dont pay for these sites and download and use thier hacks doesnt mean they dont exist tho and i wouldnt have even commented about them if i hadnt seen my friend using them with my own eyes.

And yes the server was ranked and yes he got the hack from an above mentioned site so people do know what they are talking about.
