Tell them to sign it into the Patriot Act. From what I understand if you get a prescription for over 300 allergy pills you are a terrorist.

SO write your congressman and tell them you want hacking to be a terrorist act. That way you can sleep better at night knowing that some lil punk ass kid will get 85 yrs for a few giggles.

In an ironic twist I am sorta being serious.

We shouldn't underestimate the range of effects from wonky netcode that interferes with client/server communication.

How do you guys know you are getting shot in the head btw? In CS:S you get a nice gooey brain gurgling sound effect, but you don't hear crap in BF2...

I play all facets of the game and have yet to see a hack. I've had a few suspicious encounters, but never seen a blatent aimbot (CS style) hack.

Only encountered one so far, in the only place it really helps you: Long-distance shooting with the tank machinegun.

Aside from that, what's it really gonna help you do? It's not hard to line up a shot in BF2. Ever. What's hard is getting a shot where you're not gonna get killed and can actually fire that shot accurately.

Rombaft, you yourself have made several posts about lag issues affecting weapons and their functions during gameplay (very detailed and well thought out I might add)due to lag issues, could the supposed hacking be another aspect of this insidious lag issue?

well, indeed, this is why I don't post names here, and I am asking other people if they having the same thing going on .

Also, I won't say there are many hacks in BF2 directly, but as stated, lately there are strange things happening with some players, also in there stats it goes strange, and the fact, you run into them and even before you could do something, they just run fire , and you drop dead in an instant, this is why I think there is an aimbot marching up .

Indeed, someone else said, it's hard to code an aimbot for BF2 , wich is true, it probably only works for infantry and only effective with certain assault rifles or something

it is so insanely accurate, that in many situations you dont hear [due to a bug] nor see the flash and dies. i had a nice round on ghost town yesterday, when i came 34-2 with pkm only, and god, ive been accused as haker, cheater and loser by many

as for the cheaters, i had similar problem with tank battle few days ago on dalian - im a good tanker, mostly use tank/apc on maps like dalian/kubra, so i think im even quite good tanker, because i got my kdr without whoring infantry maps, but to the point - here it goes, me in abrams, him in type88 - i shot him 8 times [8 hit indicators]! and he finaly got me.. his shots were normal, but his hit points, not even near to - it was a close range duel, he was in the open, no crate, no enginner, he dint pop out to repair [he was facing me front-left, so id have seen him] so WTF? i usualy take tank in two hits at this range

btw. i also have seen somebody whoring the pistol entire round.. hew was firing faster than SAW is capable of, is there a macro for g15 or nostromo?

there are hit point hacks out there for sure.

I shot a guy running at me 20 times in the head with an apc.
I only killed him when i ran him over. Something was very fishy about that. Of course if you say anything during the game people will just think you suck and dont know how to play. oh well.

Those exist, I've heard other people mention it, and the guy who was sniping with the tank MG outside the fog was also NOT dying at all in his tank. Without a crate or anyone near him, he soaked up at least 8 AT rockets and didn't blow up. He went like 61-0 (no, I'm not exaggerating) until I carbombed him.

haven't you guys ever had those times where you're dead right as your screen shows your toe just passing the corner of the building? so many times i've been 1 shotted like that when the guys 50 ft away RUNNING. pretty curious if you ask me.

It all boils down to playing in a well adminned servers. Play there, keep playing there, gather some respect and credibility from admins and soon, if something is suspicious, you gan get people banned. BF2 isnt even close to CS in hacking, and that one isnt even close to SWAT4. The key is to play in a quality servers. Hell, youre not going into slums and hope that police helps you 24/7 there....

I just still can't believe that someone could have any real fun cheating. Single player sure, but multi-player? Where is the fun in that? Silly tarts.
