Only the MEC Hind will go straight up when you bail, the PLA transport I am unsure of and the BH will spin in crazy circles before crashing. The Hind, if left to spiral upwards, will keep going until that idle vehicle thing kicks in, and the vehicle blows up.

i think for someone who doesnt like to fly its an excellent way to torture the enemy team :) then again, the choppers arent as sought-after as they used to be.

i just love going into an enemy spawn and wreaking havoc. this is why spec-ops shines, and still does after 1.2. its such a joy placing explosives on enemy vehicles, waiting for them to jump in and then popping them :)

sorry if i am wrong but what single player map has planes? i thought they limited sp to 16 players = no aircraft

Operation Clean Sweep has bombers in the 16 player version.

As long as you're not seeing the ground above your head when you bail you'll be fine. :)

No you die at a certain point. I let it go up for a while and I stopped wacthing at 30,000 Then like 5-10minutes later I was dead. So there is a end at one point.

I don't think the game has an upper limit, except for maybe the upper limit of which the programming language can handle. I've been over 1,000,000 before. I win.

So Im goofing off in single player with the plane. Then I say to myself how high can go up? Will there be a limit? It took me several tried to get the right speed and conrtol with my joystick. First attempt I got 2,500 meters, I was very proud. Then Im like what the heck and go and go and go. Got to 9,500 meters! Well if you can go that high why not try further? Next time I start to go, 360 kmph, straight up. GO TO 20,000 METERS! I couldnt believe you can go that far up. I bailed out and it took me 5 minutes and 10 seconds to hit the ground lmao. I have some screenshots but Im not sure how to post them.

Try that and go above 20,000 in BF2. :p The models start to deform, sort of like viewing them through some sort of water lens. They just keep morphing... O_o

Oh ya forgot to mention on my way down when I was about 2,000 meters from the earth the bot commander called in arty while I was freefalling in the sky! All the arty passed me up it was so halarious!

thats wicked fun...ive been in a heli can arty just smasehd the vehicle to pieces and we were quite high..anyways ive never gotten past like 2000-3000 meters or soemthing...my plane seems to shake alot and then i end up going off the map into awol zone
