Have Euro also and agree 100%. Tabara Quarry will be a 24x7 favorite.

well. I'm not sure about wether or not buying it. But I do know that I have spent
a lot of time playing the wonderful Project Reality MiniMod. I would really recommend it. Great maps ( beats the crap out the vanilla bf2 maps ) and great players as well. ( that means teamplayers! ) It is also totally free.

Don't judge it fully yet seeing as the people who have it now may not have the 100% version of the game.

Through some sort of glitch some of us were able to get it early, that dosn't mean what we have is exactly what it was supposed to be.

I have to agree with a couple guys above. I bought SF in November and have played it almost exclusively since it came out. Vanilla BF is completely boring to me now. As far as performance problems go, I haven't had any.

Now, regarding the Euro pack, I'm definitely getting it. $10 is dirt cheap and given how much I know I'll play it and enjoy it, it's nothing. As for you guys that say it should be free, how many games have given away that much new content for free? Hell, BF42 only released two free maps, a couple new weapons, and a PT boat or two. For $10 you're getting an entirely new army, vehicles, aircraft, weapons, and maps.

I don't quite understand your point. The analogy is that you paid a certain number of cents per hour (CENTS, as in cash, not senses, as in sight/sound/touch/taste/smell) to play. That is, I have paid $.20 per hour for the amount of time I've put into BF2. I still say that's a good investment.

It depends on the amount of utility(pleasure) one gets from the game. If the utilty is too low and it is a high price then I will not purchase the item.

all the young noobs will rush out and get it, ruining any chance we had of getting EA to sort their S**T out. after the last 6 months, they shoulda let it go out for free. i won't be paying ea for nuthin never ever again, and everytime another **** downloads it, they are telling ea its alright to release crap untested products, 'cos the dum punters will buy anything'. ffs make a stand or get used to the way ea does business, either we boycott them and they get their house in order, or it continues as is. and i'm sure all the **** noobs will carry on downloading while all the more serious gamers get more and more frustrated by ea's lack of self worth and uncaring attitudes. um, i guess you could say i wont be getting it thro any channel that charges

So many different views, but honestly, I feel SF really wasnt value for money. The patch totally screwed the game up. Instead of having more maps and fixes like Wake Island etc, we have to pay for the booster packs. Its not bout the 10 bucks, just i feel, on principle, its wrong. The community has to react in the right way for things to change. But sadly, seems not, how on earth can people praise SF and violently defend the game remains a MYSTERY!

im a noob ur a noob everyone is a noob. im going to get it so therefor i am a noob and an old noob at that. i guess i can just afford to pay ten dollars thats all. u got to think bout it for a sec EA is in the buisness to make money and they are going to make money at what they do whether u like it or not. i mean Burger king charges me 69 cents to super size my value meal but u dont see me boycotting burger king b/c of it.
