Personally Id like to see selfguided AT rockets and tell you to adapt.

yeah, because you're probably too retarded to spawn somewhere else or drive a C4 jeep or squad up with AT guys. probably also why your dimwit brain can't figure out how to adapt to the new patch and pay more attention to the location of the enemy planes.

You were probably too retarded to man the AA before and observe and time your shots. But oh well. Noones perfect?
And when I mean "spawnrape" I mean "spawnrape"- as soon as you spawn, you die? You should be aware of this concept, Mr Tankdriver?

Have you EVER been in a plane before? Do you have any idea what youre talking about or are you just throwing out random ********? Since youre new to the concept, let me remind you that if you dont have a visual, or if noone has spotted the plane, there is NO WAY you know where the plane is. Also, since the map is 2 dimensional, even if its spotted, the altitude difference is still present making the aqcuiring the visual sight of the jet still hard. DOGFIGHT, as in maneuver/outmaneuvering/chasing has NOTHING to do with 1.2 anymore. Because you ahve to be behind a jet for 2 seconds to get a lock and shoot out 2 missiles.

Jesus, why am I even bothering, its like teaching a 1 grader advanced maths. GO GET A JET and fly for a while so you have any idea whats being discussed.

Co-pilot controls the missile with a joystick?

However, I'm not closed minded enough to no consitter that it could be further improved upon. It would be nice if you could deek out a missile by doing complex maneuvers.

The only thing that's been proven is that while I (and others) don't have a big problem with the current system, I (and said others) have the mental dextarity to not prattle on about our own opinions and CAN look at things in a logical way.

Once again, just get over yourself.
              You add nothing.
Listen Wargimp, you lecturing me about AA, and airplane balance is getting a bit old. I'm not one to bring up peoples statistics and use them against said person but it helps highlight the ridiculous nature of what you're doing in this thread. You're commenting on airplance balance with less than 3 hours in an airplane, and LESS (wtf?) than 1:1 K/D ratio in a plane, while I've got hundreds of hours in an airplane and the best K/D ratio in the game, and that isn't a brag I'm mearly stating the facts. It's a bit like a basketball player attempting to lecture a grandmaster world champion ping pong player on the finer points of... ping pong.

You've got an under 1:1 K/D ratio, and the average player is around a 5:1 K/D ratio, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with those figures. In fact, they'd point more to points being UNDERPOWERED rather than overpowered based on the limited quantity of the jets. Especially the statistics that show armor users, medics, helicopter pilots, Spec Ops, and assault on the average score HIGHER than pilots with better SPM and even KPM (again, wtf did DICE base these nerfs on?).

When I speak about jets and AA, I speak from extensive experience, expertise and my view from up in the top tier of pilots. When you speak about jets and AA, it's nothing more than speculation and conjecture about something you know little to nothing about.

how long have you even played? i'll bet you're one of those christmas nubs who has just started playing. you're the only dumbfvck who keeps insisting that the ground AA was fine before 1.2, but then again, i wouldn't expect anything else from a pu$$y pilot.

as far as i know, every map has a bunch of spawn points, but only a retard like yourself would spawn at the same point knowing there is a camper in armor only to be killed as soon as you spawn.

you're not the only fvckin pilot here. there are scores of them who have adapted and stopped complaining. your problem is you're too fvckin used to not paying attention to the enemy planes because it was a cakewalk to shake off another plane before 1.2, so i'm pretty sure you're either a $hitty pilot who can't cope with the additional threats anymore or you're too accustomed to having 'xx' kills and 0 deaths.

Quote me where I´ve said it was fine. I have said it could have been used effectively if you put some work into it. Does that concept even reach through that skull of yours?

as far as i know, every map has a bunch of spawn points, but only a retard like yourself would spawn at the same point knowing there is a camper in armor only to be killed as soon as you spawn.
Seems like I hit a soft spot, spawnrapist. Im talking about raping spawns, not spawning somewhere else. Its wonderful, how guys like you couldnt take cover from incoming bombs, yet insist on spawning somewhere else when a tank is spawncamping. I still have that cookie to that BS of yours.

you're not the only fvckin pilot here. there are scores of them who have adapted and stopped complaining.
Its a fact that complaints wont change anything, unless they come from people who just cant play by the games rules. Therefore Im just discussing the topic, knowing that nothings going to change. I am well aware of that. Everyone has adapted. Theres no other way. Then again, common sense is something you have no idea about.

your problem is you're too fvckin used to not paying attention to the enemy planes because it was a cakewalk to shake off another plane before 1.2,
Do I ****ing have to TEACH you how the flight was and has been in BF2?!
Theres no way you can know a planes position unless you have a visual on it, or someone has spotted it. Cakewalk in shaking? What the **** are you doing in this topic?! You dont have a clue about what youre talking about. When a good pilots meets the other, there is no shaking. Why the **** are we talking about prolongued dogfights here. Pay attention to the god damn topic, next time you burst in. Read and educate yourself you ignorant tankwhore.

so i'm pretty sure you're either a $hitty pilot who can't cope with the additional threats anymore or you're too accustomed to having 'xx' kills and 0 deaths.
AA and other jets have been a threat to me since day one. People who havent put enough effort in to using those AAs (like you havent put effort in to learn how to fly, instead of tankwhoring in Karkand) were a minor threat. Ive stated numerous times that I have been downed by AAs many a times. Judging by what I have been talking about regarding STA ATA ATS, I think Ive proven to be a pilot that at least KNOWS what hes talking about. Not like you, who spits random ******** and thinks thats the truth.

Truth is, you dont know what youre talking about and you just came here to have a go at the pilots. Stick to Karkand, tank, and spawncamping, stay off this thread.

Hmm... how about TVGM type of control? Because flying behind a jet with a missile, while controlling it is kind of odd. Fun nonetheless.

In reality tankers kill more people than pilots (especially fighter pilots)

and i'm telling you how to counter spawn-rapers, peabrain. take cover, yeah right, name one map where there are overhead shelters besides the tin sheds where the armor usually spawns, unless of course, you mean sitting inside those sheds for the whole duration of the map or perhaps you can dig bunkers. so now who's the one spewing bull$hit? want a cookie for that?

doesn't seem like you have adapted. seems like you're still having a hard time getting used to all the deaths. no surprise then that you're still whining on these forums.

since you've been shot down by pre-1.2 AA "many a times", you've proven once again that you're a $hitty pilot, because only the $hittiest pilots could be shot down by pre-1.2 AA. you're the only one who claims to have shot down jets with pre-1.2 AA, again with no stats or proof to back that claim.

bottomline is, you're a christmas nub and a $hitty pilot who thinks he knows what he's talking about, but is just full of $hit and continues to whine even 2 weeks after the patch has been released and think of "possible solutions to the A2A" when pretty much every other pilot has learned to adapt. everyone hated the pilots right from day 1 because they had an unfair advantage and now you b!tches can't deal with the fact that the game is finally balanced.

Re: Highway to the Boredom Zone, a pilots perspective on the 1.2 patch

I play an equal spread of infantry, helicopters, armor, and planes (although I did have a period where I was pretty much a 24/7 PlaneWhore, I still have more time logged as infantry). I never, and repeat, NEVER am killed by planes when I'm playing infantry or armor.

Why? Well, when you think like a pilot, you simply don't get killed by the pilots. I don't sit still in a vehicle when I know a good pilot is lurking in the sky, I don't stand at a flag that has just been captured, I don't stand in an area where I see the enemy UAV, I don't stand still, I don't sit in AA launchers for more than 5 seconds, I don't stand at common vehicle spawn points, I keep my distance from stationary vehicles and when I'm in a vulnerable vehicle like a jeep I drive fast, drive erratic, and never stop moving for a moment.

Literally, for every 100 times I die to APC, or a tank, I die once to a plane. Almost all my deaths to pilots are while I'm in the rubber boat (aka the floating coffin). Planes simply do not bother me in the slightest. On the other hand, I round a corner and an enemy APC or tank is right in front of me I'm pretty much screwed unless they are a complete idiot, but when dealing with planes I have no such problem.

Take it from me, as a top pilot, airplane pilots cannot see infantry very well (in fact, most pilots can't see them at all, but I must admit I've trained my eye to catch them at full throttle flying low in time to fire my cannon at them), so pilots have the bomb areas where they think infantry might be crowding around. They also bomb vehicles (obviously) and popular vehicle spawns, which is why you need to keep in mind a stationary vehicle is easy to bomb, a fast moving erratic vehicle is in fact extremely difficult to strike. Taking these factors in to account, it is EXTREMELY easy not to die to pilots. Even if pilots were too hard to kill in 1.12, if you're smart you're even HARDER for them to kill.

It's the little things like the above that make me so ****ed and insulted that the crybaby infantry got their way and got planes nerfed even though they had the solution to pilots the entire time, as long as they used their skull.

It is also very frustrating for me attempting to explain this and having people not "get it", and then go on ranting about how they were upset in 1.12 that they didn't have a 100% hit rate on planes with AA missiles. Boo ****ing hoo.
