Don't worry, Euro Force will sell very well. They don't even have to wrap it in a box and burn CDs: they are looking for a MEGA profit on that.

No 64 player, then NO WAY. I like 64 player servers. I was happy they they were gonna add it to normal BF2 map rotation, but if its no 64 player, then wots the point? crap.

Get a new army and then only play 3 maps

I wont be buying it, if DICE are going to make 3 maps, and cant be arsed to make them support 64 players, yet still expect me to pay them for it they must be insane.

Make a real booster pack, 4 or 5 really good BF2 maps that support 64 player just like the normal game does and will tear the bf2 players away from karkand and sharqi and have some real worthwhile extra content and sell it to me for 6 quid and I'll be glad to pay you. But try and sell me 3 measly maps that cant even offer what the normal game can and with 2 new tanks which will be exactly the same as all the other tanks, a new chopper and helo that will be exactly the same as the current ones and thanks to 1.2 wont even be worth getting into anyway and a bunch of weapons that will sound and look different to the current ones but are effectively the same and I will tell you where to stick it.

Now armoured fury, with its new classes of vehicles such as A-10, and recon helos sounds like it could offer something new (ie what the mods want to bring to BF2). But again youve missed the opportunity to add something new such as another gamemode, and all the other things the community ask for (all those things AJ Marini says "We have absolutely no plans for that" to in every interview!) because if the AR maps are 32 player only aswell, you've only made a huge step backwards. What on earth is the point?

Seems to me like the people at DICE who can actually get things done have moved on to "Stella" (where the next source of major revenue lays). And SF, EF, AR and the dire patch quality assurance and testing are being dealt with by DICE Canada? Does that sound about right?

No, it will still support 64-player servers, the maps will just be downsized to fit 32 people....so there will be less tanks/apcs/etc to go around between the 64 players.

I hope they at least have the sense to adjust the spawns accordingly knowing full well these 32 player maps will regularily be supporting 64 players at a time...

You know, if only they could bring back in the team that originally made the game in the first place to make an expansion or thourough patch... I bet a lot of problems would be solved.

Do what most should be doing and take a stand for the community. Don't pay for it. Not saying you shouldn't get it just don't pay for it unless you going to wait and buy some n00bs used copy off ebay.

Like I posted in another thread here. BF2 was the first game by EA that I have bought in over 3 years. I technically didn't even buy it. It was a gift from my boss for working extra for him when people didn't show up at christmas time.

its not the money I have a problem with it's the fact that it SHOULD be free (remember Wake), if we all continue to buy this crap EA will keep pumping them out and make you buy them if you want to play Bf2 online. I will bet a large sum of money that for the next Bf game you will have to pay for patches. (maybe even this game as well)

I don't get some of you people, youre worser off if you don't buy it now aint you? its just 10 bucks, nothing compared to SF wich was expensive like ****, really people all this whining aint helping, atleast theres a whole new team, ah comon, if you don't buy it you are ruining it for the people that DO buy it, they will have less players to play with wich would be sucking... CMON PEOPLE 10 BUCKS FOR 3 l33tmaps and 1 whole new team! whats the ****ing problem?

If everyone buys it, it just shows EA that they can churn out a few maps and it'll sell like hot cakes... therefore, they'll carry on doing it.

You people bitching about the maps not being 64 players need to get your head out of your asses because there are lots of servers out there that play maps with 64 people that are no official 64 player maps. 32 player maps can handle 64 players easily, there are just less points to capture and I personally like it that way because it makes the gameplay better! People are less spread out!

Definately not going to get it. Let's look at what you get.

- 3 new maps intended for 32 players, which will end up with 64 crammed in there.

- One new team. Basically, these means 6 new guns, all of which are basically identical to the existing ones, albiet cosmetically.

- New vehicles, which function the exact same way as those existing.

That's it. And they're charging money for it.

Now, for the punch line...



Who remembers this little gem? I'm sure you do. I'm also sure you remember a massive lack of players, servers, content, etc..

Take a stand for the community's sake. Make them learn that they can't feed the community drivel like this. There are bugs unfixed and ignored in the initial releases, and now they're trying to make us pay for the same amount of content that a modding team could (and undoubtedly have done) create with ease.
