No because I've always earned my points with skill, so the new patch has made me even better, and has weakened my opponenets who either used exploits or air invincibility(jets-not copters) to kill me. I think the patch is great-especially all the tears it has created for the no skills-formerly known as air whore/bunny hoppers/dolphin divers
If you couldn't kill them before, you didn't have skill neither then or now. You've simply "earned" your points on luck, because all those people were easily killable with what people deem "legal" or "skillful".
You guys who are saying "lame" have to remember that SOME of the people are experiencing rediculous bugs with animations and in intense firefights. Why would someone keep playing with a broken toy even if they used to really like playing with it? There's a point where you just have to throw it away. I like playing BF2, but there's some dumb stuff going on right now. You can't just call it "people who can't adapt". I won't quit now, but I might if a new toy comes along.

I agree with that---I was talking about the exploiters and invincible jet pilots really--Now the really good pilots-which there are many-will shine though
I think the good pilots will welcome the new patch- it is more of a challenge
no this game is awsome i like the patch its a bit harder more skill invovled in gainning your points it has its bugs with it but sure when the next patch comes out it will fix some bugs but as usuall people will moan about it
well i havent played bf2 since the new patch came out hopefully it will run fine for me if not o well its life ppl should except this kind of crap from dice
This patch is the best thing ever done to the game, i have had more FUN (and less points) in the last few days, then the previous 2 months i think :)

The Patch just solved some problems and created new ones.
now it's more of claymore spamming than anything.
But nevertheless, i will quit not because of the patches.
But rather because of people who exploits or just makes the gameplay less enjoyable.

Amen amen, preach it brother. You took the words out of my mouth. My game play has not changed at all, except that I kill more because half of the people are learning to play again
You don't know anything about adapting. If you people saying anyone who hates the patch is simply a plane/C4 whore or bunny hopper, it really says a lot for how foolish you are for blinding accepting something just because it might help to you die just 29 times per round instead of 30.
Bunny hoppers were easily killable, JETS were not invincible, and heck, the Blackhawk in the earlier patches, was not invincible, but you people continued to whine, continued to complain because you, quite honestly, suck at the game, if you can't overcome something other than a person with bad aim holding a pistol or sniper rifle (which is what you are WELL on your way to making BF2 become, aside from the PKM Rifle currently, which probably will get a nerf in the next patch because people will start dying from it, and again, start whining). Adapting doesn't mean crap if you can't do it BEFORE the patch and overcome what's bothering you. So many people whined about the Blackhawk, when that thing was nothing but a free 12 point flying Yahtzee for me to shoot. Bunny hoppers were easily killed if you did something called SHOOT AT THEM instead of stand there and complain how much you hated bunny hopping, and jets could be brought down if you either A: Took the time to go try flying against him yourself or B: Used some common sense with the AA to ward them off.
If you have to have EA nerf something for you, then call it adapting, you're not doing a darn thing. Right now, you're just living in the limbo time between when everyone else adapts to a new tactic, which you obviously will NOT learn to adapt to, and will start losing just as much as before, and start whining about whatever else kills you because you won't change your gameplay style or apply some thinking to the game.[/rant about morons who ruin a game with lots of potential]
