no. i just got this game a couple weeks ago. i really don't see much of a difference between 1.12 and 1.2 but that is probably just because i haven't played much anyway.Comment

Uh oh, I better put my flamesuit on. This thread will bring some heat.
And yes, I already quit BF2. I disliked the changes they made in 1.2. Not because I used to fly but because DICE decided to mess with the gameplay. I know I could just have adapted by I never felt like changing my playing habits after 280 hours (And no, that doesn't mean Bunnyhopping/Dolphindiving).
I'm playing DoD:S at the moment and will check back BF2 out again after the next patch.Comment

Yes = Jet whores and chopper people who can't adapt.
No = People who can adapt and accept.
Maybe = Undecided people.
Apart from people with hardware problems due to the patch then it's that simple imho.Comment

You don't know anything about adapting. If you people saying anyone who hates the patch is simply a plane/C4 whore or bunny hopper, it really says a lot for how foolish you are for blinding accepting something just because it might help to you die just 29 times per round instead of 30.Originally posted by dblEdge

If you have to have EA nerf something for you, then call it adapting, you're not doing a darn thing. Right now, you're just living in the limbo time between when everyone else adapts to a new tactic, which you obviously will NOT learn to adapt to, and will start losing just as much as before, and start whining about whatever else kills you because you won't change your gameplay style or apply some thinking to the game.[/rant about morons who ruin a game with lots of potential]

No because I've always earned my points with skill, so the new patch has made me even better, and has weakened my opponenets who either used exploits or air invincibility(jets-not copters) to kill me. I think the patch is great-especially all the tears it has created for the no skills-formerly known as air whore/bunny hoppers/dolphin divers
