Liste, I am patching right now. EA is clogged up so I had to use this site and since I don't have an account, I have to wait. Anyways, what are we talking about. We cried because jets got 100:1 ratio in a round because they flew the whole time without stop. Noobtubers walked the streets of Karkand and they would bunny hop and stuff. Choppers use to just own everything they saw like jets. We cried about Black Hawks because a person could get 30 kills on Mashtuur and we couldn't play. Snipers whined because they would shoot a guy, he would live, sniper would reload, look through scope and the guy was already gone. We are whining about the opposite things now. We gave complaints o EA and EA fixed them the best they could. Now we are whining that what they gave us is crap so they take it away. Jeez...you guys don't make any sense.

In real life I could fire a missile on the F15 and obliterate the entire MEC main base. In real life if I hit a tree it wouldn't take down an entire jet, the AA would be better if they just fired trees into the air as they are the real killers. REALISM CAN NOT EXCIST in game.

Well IMO what Hu.Z_of_PLA is saying is sort of true and IMO it has made the game better. The Helis arnt useless you've just got to adapt Ive tried them out myself on a couple of different maps. You cant go flying out in the open no more because of the increased accuracy of AA but a skilled pilot that knows were all the AA placements are can find plenty of cover to get from A to B. Ive not personally tried the planes yet but I've been on a couple of servers and there was your typical plane whores raping the crap out of flags as usual not as intense as it used to be but the planes still looked very Powerful. Overall from what Ive tested at the moment this is a good patch and the only people that seem to be complaining are all the stat whores. You know the type that only fly in the BH on mashurate city or the ones that near enough exclusively play medic on karkland Or the bitches that TK for planes it seems to me there the ones doing all the complaining.

p.s. Hu.Z_of_PLA lol i think this is the first time I've ever agreed with you in a thread dam it makes a change fella good post.

AA kills with astonishing accuracy. Dogfights arent dependant on skills now. AA requires "minimum" effort to operate and still results in a kill.
-Dogfights with skills are history, for now. After some time action in skies will look completely different.
-AA, if a jet had a chance. It would be great. But as some have posted, jets stand no chance. People wanted balance. They got domination.

            N00bwalkers issue is hardly fixed.
-Isnt much of a problem. Those are people without skills and mostly just adjusting to the game. Experienced n00bwalkers can get you with that G-Launcher from anywhere anyway.

Bunnyhoppers- same, although you wont get shot in midair like in UT.
-Isnt much of a problem. As a new player I used the same trick to not to get shot. Didnt stand a chance against experienced players anyway.

Black Hawk, now in Gulf of Oman, when USMC is forced back on the carrier, will never reach ground becaus FAVs will make quick work out of them.
-This makes me cry. You wanted a transport helo? Try flying coffin now.

Snipers will be a very common kit for a while now. But personally I believe that its a great start for a newbie player to get adjusted to the game. I started as a sniper myself. Then moved to n00btubing and now I´m off those two. Sniper was too hard for me. N99btubing felt cheap, but I stayed alive at times.

            EDIT: Yeah, sorry.

Attack helos. Those are supposedly being pushed to support rule. In fact this patch as being an infantry patch attempts to push air power from offensive to support role. I will bitch and whine, so will others. By the end of the day all gets cooled down. As a pilot, only the totally different aspect of dogfights seems to bother me too much right now.

No you wouldn't. F15 missiles aren't that strong, unless it's nuke.

Yes, go try to hit a tree in real life with a jet. In fact, a CHICKEN can take down the whole jet.

its so funny to watch bunch of 12 olds aruing about war realism and real life lol

just ask your dad why usa chopers dont fly in middle east anymore, because some folks there brought iglas

in real life plane or choper has no chance against anti air system because in real life you cant strife, evade or do crazy tricks to evade aa missle, its made to hit whatever you do

and flares are only things that work in bf2 game

so just go to sleep and stop talking about real life 1.20 because you dont know what you are talking about

Re: Bf2 patch 1.2: a great improvement through realism

ok in real life(and before patch) a pilot take hours of flying to learn and have skills
                    now with the patch
any noob that just install the game for a first time can get in a jet fly lock boom bye bye expert pilot(arcade). You can't escape the other plane AA. Flares don't work or manuvers. Dog fights are over. Theres no more dog fights. Is brainless. just lock and boom. an stationary AA you can avoid but another plane not. you can't take a flag in a plane so they are useless.

Almost 90% that say the new patch is good are noobs with 30k points or less. that don't play every day and don't know how to fly.

Re: Bf2 patch 1.2: a great improvement through realism

I love this patch and the gameplay realism it brought to BF2... The wepaons are accurate and this has allowed teams to set up front lines, with support laying cover fire. Snipers are able to take out support gunners so that their troops can advance..

With front lines, we actually have 3 or 4 Anti-tank players setup to fire at an incoming tank. Which means the opposing team needs to take out the Anti-tank players before pushing a tank through a heavy line..

I have seen more TEAMWORK to advance onto each flag, in the last 2 hours of play, then i have seen in 6 months of previous play....

I actually like getting killed now, because it actually feels like i am being killed by a skilled tactic, instead of someone bunny hopping their way across the map..

The Commander and squads are gong to be able to use communication and planning to take flags.. This patch just brought the whole game together.. Before this patch, alot of the planning and squad tactics were overlooked by the majority. I believe the full capabilities of teamwork and squad/commander communication, through commo and voice over, will be realized now..

actually, anti aircraft missiles are easy to operate in reality, and stationary cannot avoid.

oh yeah, you claim that expert pilots can't dodge the missiles, actually, no one can in real life.

instead of being jelous of the pilot, why don't you take time to learn and do the same? what is the problem? no skill?> great now EA have the patch for you guy's with no skill, now you are very happy! make a party out of it. ouch you still get owned hahhahaha you still have less points than the others. still a noob no matter how much you complain to EA. haha no patch is gonna change the reality of players skills.

before patch pilots go 90 - 0 but i have seen pilots like that in the team that loose the round. so the planes dind't unbalance the infantry game. if theres nobody in the ground taking flags and defending they loose. EA killed the planes with no reason.
