As in real life. You can train a soldier to use the Stinger or Igla in 10 minutes and he will be shooting down planes. Pilots train for 3 or 4 years before they can fly in combat.

Thats definitely a great point. But as I have said to many people with the same point of view. This is a player vs player game where player with the higher skill level should win.

Pmosh (and to a lesser extent, Bullshark) you don't get my point... If you're a great, so called "expert" pilot, the new guy won't ever get the chance to fire his missiles at you because you're on the ball. The whole point is you don't let other planes get on your tail. Yes, it now takes little skill to fire a couple of missiles from behind a jet and knock him down, but if you let him get a firing solution on you in the first place then tough tittie, you lose.
Pmosh you're starting to sound a like a whiney baby who's had his favourite toy taken away, which suggests to me you're not the sh1t hot pilot you think you are. Maybe you should stick to Space Invaders until you've grown out of your Pampers. <end of conversation>

look like you don't use the planes in bf2 very often. I can shoot anyone no matter if they try some loops or any manuver i follow and a lock came boom no way of evading the same if someone get back and theres no way you are gona be lookin back all the time you are flying. enter a server with pilots in the other team you will see. flares don't work in the game because the missile don hit the jet engine like before they now go for the body of the plane almost hittin the cockpit. the flares can confuse the heat seeking missiles ther are now like laserdirected misiles.
now is who is the first to get behind a plane. So is luck if you spot the other plane first theres 90% chance he is dead.
