omg this patch sux the movement is terrible, i can't even walk smoothly either with this stuttering lag.

movement feels so unnatural.. proning and crouching urgh... i hope they change some of this stuff...

I thought this too, the way your player jumps and the gun goes into the running animation looks odd too. Dunno, maybe I'll get used to it.

Must admit, that sniper rifle rocks! There was snipers everywhere on the games I just played, I can understand why too. P90 won't make me play anti tank again, I will be playing engineer on a "mine FF off" server

This game, the maps where made for vehicles, heli and air, those two are the trademark of the battlefield games. This is just one of the bunch of shooting games. AA don't give a chance to any plane or heli no matter pilot skill. Planes can't get flags. Just play WAKE island on a full server and try to get from the carrier to the island.

If you're a lowsy pilot, don't fly. Try walking instead. Oh but then the enemy units will shoot you

Patch 1.2 just killed BF2 vanilla.

Yeah BF2 is so dead now because you get shot down by AA.

Never thought my opinion (sic!) is the right one. People just get what they give in return.

And 50% satisfactory level is hardly making this a successful patch. I personally think this patch does what its supposed to do. I will just have a hard time accepting that a WORSE player will have a chance to kill me at a ZERO effort regardless of my skill level being MANY times higher than his.

No, when I think Im right about something I try to back my opinion up. I dont like people coming in and telling that [insert player type] are [insert any offensive word here] and think they can get away with it.

The fact that a noob pilot can take out an expert pilot without skill in a dog fight is fair? hahaha great game. Before the patch it take skills. Know every noob can do anything. This patch was for the cry babys that got owned every day because the don't try to learn to use the vehicles. Now you see because the patch everyones playing , I give it a month before everyone stop playing. Before the patch you can take out a heli with a AA because you needed skills to do it. Now no skill is needed for this game. Heli and planes are for support for troops on the ground, thats why they where so powerfull to balance the score.
Before nobody install the game and play for the first time and be a expert pilot. It taked time. Now a noob can jump in a plane and take anyone. Wow.

Today I enter 5 servers and the planes and choppers where alone in the carrier :laugh: Thats the future of this game.

you cannot have a patch that appeases everyone. Considering that the amount of pilot comparing to the amount of regular player, I am happy for the change.

I am a pilot too, and I love the challenge.

hmm, if you are a leet pilot, how do you let anyone get on your six? that seems to be the symbol of noob pilot.

This patch ROCKERS !!!!

Finally seeing actual front lines. With medium range firefights. Supply lines and medic revives and heals, along fire lines..

I am a gunner and now, when someone wants to stick themselves out in teh open and hop around, they are dead. It is so cool being able to lay down an effective cover fire...

I have had snipers take me out; which was cool, as the snipers were doing what they were supposed to do, ie- remove me from my cover fire position so their troops could advance... EXCELLENT patch !!!!!
