My reply to him in no way insulted him thank you. I also did not write this so that everyone could "get" what I was trying to say. If you don't "get" it, don't reply. You're a good guy Lizard, but you're over-reacting to this post.

Hmm . . . I wonder if you're talking about me. I mean, I fit your profile exactly. 335 total hours, 103 of which I spent in Karkand

Why you ask? It's actually simple. It's one of my favorite maps, along with Sharqi Peninsula and Clean Sweep (Only talking BF2). It's just like CS and de_dust. The map is just fun as hell. It focuses on infantry based combat, similar to Sharqi. It's almost impossible to join a Karkand server and NOT have a good battle. It's simply one of the best maps IMO when you're looking for some fun :)

I personally prefer Karkand, because there is no air power involved.

The use of the word "You" did not mean any one person. Guilty conscience? If you would like, I can go through the whole post line by line and explain every sentence in detail so you can understand the context of what I was trying to say.

Maybe one can ask why do you spent 1/3rd your time inside armor. Tank whore much?

Seriously, the maturity level in this thread is horrifying.

Sound like a bunch of 7th graders talking about who held who's hand.

                      1. No air power to get killed by over and over again.
                      2. It's built up enough that the tanks and APCs can be avoided if you play smart.
                      3. I can always find a game on Karkand unlike many of the other maps.
                      4. The ratio of retards playing it is possibly less than any of the other urban maps in my experience.
                      5. It's a great map with lots of action.

Aside form that no real reason that I play on it.

OP set the tone, I'm starting to wondering why he cares so much how other people play their games. He's either trolling or he doesn't understand people play the maps they have fun on.

Maybe when he figures out why he spends 1/3rd his time in a tank, he'll figure out why people spend alot of time on Karkand. I enjoyed my time on Karkand but now I've moved onto Ghost Town, so many sniper nests and so little time.

I like any map that has no air power. I love the infantry based game play and though I play all the maps, I prefer ones without air power. Since I paid for the game I'll play it any way I like.

Sure, you could say that. It's not like I preface my posts by saying "I am not a tank whore". Good call. You got me dead to rites. You burned me really good on that one. You must be very clever.

First, way to not play the blame game. Real maturity there.

Second, I agree with the rest of what you said. :p

                                Re: Karkand = Point Whores?

If you look at my stats you will see I have played karkand for 128h (but I do have almost 700h playtime , but I played karkand the most, and I have 5 only karkand servers listed in my favorites .

Yes, it is true, karkand is going to give you points faster then other maps , but why ? and is it all about the points ?

                                - karkand gives you points very fast because it's a very close map, most of the time, doesn't mather if there is some flags taken or not, it's realy one team vs the other team both on each side and not far from eachother, wich gives you very intense and close combat, wich gives you lots of kills, lots of healin, repairing, resuplieing, reviving, ..... and offcourse lots of points .

But the fun in karkand is just in there, you don't have to walk or drive half a mile to get some action, you don't have to look for an enemy, you just get in game and few sec later there is tons of action, and there are no jets or black hawks to ruin the fun , this is why I like karkand, sometimes it's just crazy on the streests there, all red and blue dots shooting and stuff, just fun fun fun.

tired of the map ? no, it's not realy map related I gues, it's more the fact of shooting up enemy's and on this map there are tons of them all on the same place
