I guess I will address this myself as it seems to come up quite often. First, let me say...thank-you for watching and we hope you had 13 minutes of fun.

As for the things that don't make sense...they don't. We're not trying to trick anybody here. There are definitely some issues that aren't resolved and this leaves us with questions. The reason why we have questions is because things that we see in the movie wouldn't make sense to us from a gameplay standpoint. I wish that I could erase everyone's memory of the game before they watch the movie as it would allow them to view it from a different perspective.

For instance...buggies don't blow up tanks, some characters are pretty good shots while others are not very good, the MEC don't have their air up..why? I've seen alot of questions arise and some questions have not even been asked yet...like what happened to the POW's? where is that crazy MEC Colonel?

The point of creating an episode rather than a full featured movie is lack of closure. We want you to come back for episode 2 and 3 so that you can raise more questions, get answers, and still be left with more questions. this kind of interaction allows us to give the viewer what he wants, and deny him those things which continue the guessing game.

It's great to see these kinds of questions as alot of you have.

I have to be careful with my words as I don't want to give away any plot lines, so I'll shut up now lol.

There is trouble making movies toward a younger "gamer" audience as I've discovered. You've got to decide pre-hand if it's going to be an adult theme or not because at the end of the day some people who download only want to look at the flashy graphics/people getting killed. I thought the movie was fine the way it is. Surely it's bound to have some loss of control which you can't help, but you can't totally control BF2 the way you want it. People should be amazed at what the game engine can do and how people use it in movies, not how - "well that could be better if you got that guy to wave or something" - type comments you simply cannot achieve without some extreme third party editing which looks corny.

P.S. I like troybob's comment about the "getting a face full of grass", couldn't have put it better myself :)

Did you use different sound files for the radio chatter or was it one sound file? I am in the process of making a movie myself and I need some radio chatter like that, do you happen to know where I could download some samples like the one you used.

Edit: Very good and well developed video. I accually laughed when I heard the DesertCombat radio commands. Also, found it good that you didnt have the M1A1 tank turrets turning left and right as if they were looking around. I see alot of videos that try to be real intesnse and whatnot that make a simple mistake as this. Kudos on the vid. Looking forward to the next installment.

I used Nero 6, select DVD - go to Movies -Make a movie-, drag the movie in there and burn it. It's really simple. If you need additional help, I can take some screenshots.
My son played it on his portable DVD player and it looks incredible, better than on the pc.

Sorry I only have Nero 5.5 and not quite sure where to go from there. Yes any screenshot on how to convert that wmv format to a format to be played on any DVD will help.
Any free software that I can download that helps convert wmv format to a dvd format? There's a few more movies that I would like to burn and show off to ppl.

Finally a movie where the MEC fail to stop USMC forces for once. All the other movies I've seen are ridiculous with enough machine guns to stop a tank yet the USMC still survive. Fantastic. Dissidents ftw !. Nice eryx scene too.
