You obviously know NOTHING about "real war" then. Girls count the same "amount" as guys do. Without them, modern armies would not get the logistechs, communications, and other nessecities.

Anyways. About the thread starter. While I honestly don't care if women are in the game, it poses no real "point". It would be like adding an M16a2 yet not giving you access to the rail... pointless.

I could see if Men/Women had different stats (Men lift more, women strafe quicker). Yet, as it stands, it has no real purpose because Dice/EA obviously wouldn't touch on the fragile truth that women and men are different physically.

Let it be. Honestly. There is no third person perspective in the game... you shouldn't care what you look like.

i got many girls on my xfire list, and the Flatass clans leader is a girl. and ive also heard many of them mad there is no girl soldier in any class, there is a black man though. :laugh:

post some girls xfire username so i can add them

i really could not care less if the person i was playing was the pope! and the fact that girls dont play becouse of them felling offended cuz there arent enough female character in the game... boo hoo hoo. its a psihological thing if there were olny female characters we would be bitching for more MALE powah!
and yes you do have women in the army but i dont think they get into the first atacking squad... (no i dont hate them)

I am a woman player and could care less personally if my "skin" is male or female....but for those of you who are laughing at the women who won't play because there are no female skins--would you play if it were ALL female skins???

Tomb Raider, Perfect Dark, Death by Degrees, some Resident Evils...

Didn't think so... I see no reason why EA/Dice shouldn't add in a few female skins...this isn't real battle, it is a GAME, which has male and female players. I don't think the problem is guys don't wanna mow down some helpless girl with their PKM as it is guys don't wanna BE mowed down by a girl with a PKM :) See you on the battlefield!!

It seems like women are the one's mostly pushing this "sexist" mentality to attribute to men. You seem to think us guys give a damn "what" kills us. We are going to hate it all the same. Hell, women have been becoming so "butch" in recent years that I consider most of my female friends to be "one of the guys". That wouldn't change in game... you would just be, " One of the Guys". So... since the guy skin is already there, wear it.

This entire thread has as much merit as a fart during a congressional session. This current trend in games pushed by a "few" women is pathetic. Next thing you know, they are gunna' want female skins in friggin' Madden.

I think EA needs to add some Female soldiers to this game. its a easy patch.

Ya, then instead of a sprint meter, they can have a PMS meter making them super soldiers for a period (no pun intended) of time

if there are females who refuse to play because there are no female skins, then this thread has a valid point.

i dont believe there is even a slight chance there will be the addition of female skins, however, you may suggest to EA or whomever to include it in the next game in the battlefield series, which i hear is underway....or even in the next booster/expansion, it still would not be in vanilla, or SPec Forces tho...

it seems likely that if EA is working on the next battlefield game, new expansions/boosters may no longer be created

{WP}Paas I had to laugh at your response, I didn't think of those games cuz I don't play them....I Love BF2!!! As for the rest of my post I wasn't trying to cut on ALL men playing BF2..Just a select few that can't seem to handle it when a woman player takes them down. Personally I find that pretty funny too. I just don't understand the necessity in calling a woman names when she kills you when you wouldn't do it if it was another man who killed you. Do you???? Kind of pathetic... As far as adding female "skins" I reapeat...I couldn't care either way, I'll continue to play.

Cant believe this thread is still going :laugh: My opinion still stands..I cant see myself in game and a skin isnt going to change my game play or give me extra abilities. So it is in effect pointless

The majority of people that want female skins are Guys...whats that tell you :p

Hi all,

So many posts with people saying "you can't see yourself" without anyone pointing out :
* You CAN see yourself in game (when in a vehicle 3rd person, and briefly when killed.)
* you CAN see yourself in BFHQ (sort of)
(* others CAN see you too.)


Also,
1/2 the world's population is female - it's not a tiny minority - as some imply with silly talk of having trannies or homosexuals or other irrelevanet minorities as well.

Many games have female soldiers (not to mention some armies), having females in BF2 would add some interest to the game, and bring in a few more players.


It's also very funny to see dozens of posts saying :
"the game is based on realism"

and dozens of other posts saying :
"the game is not based on realism"

A more nuanced view would note that the game is PARTLY realistic, and sometimes not.
It seems that when people agree with something, it's "realistic", but when they disagree, it's "not realistic".

Theoretically in the US this is the case. In the IDF, the Russian Army during WWII and other services they are fully-qualified (and rightly so). I say this as a retired (as in 20 yrs plus commissioned) service member.

Girls dont count in real war. So why should they count in game? But then again it would be nice to get a good meal in game...... THATS RIGHT I SAID IT! I SAID IT!
