Re: So how do support players feel?
I came from the realistic game known as Joint Operations and I can safely say the support guns atm in BF2 are crap. Not even worth using them. They cant suppress anything cause they cant hit anything. I've lost count of the amount of times i've been prone in an alley waiting for some customers to come around the corner. One does sees me does some rabbit jumping stuff and noob tubes me before i can even kill him.
There is no point to support in this stupid game unless DICE understand that if you run at a support guy in the open you should get owned very quickly. The accuracy on these guns is crap in real life they are way more accurate when just squeezing the trigger. Most support guns have an accurate effective range of up to 2km! Yet in BF2 30+ metres is too much for them to handle. Overheating 2 is bs, a real support gun could fires a few thousand rounds before it even gets near overheating.
Removing dolphin diving will help the support class in my opinion. No longer will spec ops be able to come around the corner and instantly prone and headshot you with their bs guns. Its a good thing and support will benefit from it.
