OMG :-) Colony is a good pilot in the F35 (I play on moongamers a lot) and i was there when it happend. He killed an admin to much and the admin got **** and the admin misused his power to kick.

First we appreciate you joining our server, thanks and when you are ready to address the "who did it" in your statement we will gladly look into it. Feel free to PM me with the info and sense you were there when it happened I am sure you can provide all of it and just in case you haven't taken the time to read all 25 pages of this thread please do as it clearly outlines exactly what happens.
Sorry, Maranello but it is time to put a stop to bashing our Admin's. We are not perfect as no one is but we do our best. If you think you can contribute to our Admin team please apply but be warned it is a very thankless job and often takes away from your game play.

Maranello spent over ten hours in the server last night and then came into TeamSpeak before leaving the server. We had a chance to talk for a while. Here is what I found out.

He is a very intelligent, hard working man who spent enough time in the server to take in a good slice of who we are and how we operate. He saw some good things and some bad, because that is what happens on the server at any given time. To say otherwise would be lying.

Quite frankly, colony has ultimately done us a favor. We have met several individuals and a couple of communities that will simply enrich and enhance our friendships in the gaming world. Ironic, ain't it?

My last words under this topic for the Moongamers community.

I have played in the MG server over 10 hours non stop yesterday. I had even installed fraps just to record the incidents that i was talking about and i was going to show it to their admins. However, within 10 hours, not a single incident that required me using fraps happened. They did their job very very well.

I have also had a good chance to get to know people who play in their server, especially their admins.

These are the nicest and the most wonderful people you can ever see in a BF2 server and in a community. We all have made some wrong judgements about them, we made assumptions, we accused them with breaking EULA for nonsense reasons.

After yesterday, i have realized that even myself after all my experience in the gaming community can make mistakes, and we shouldn't act in a manner we did at the beginning of this topic before we have all the facts cleared.

I, personally, didn't know anything about the Moongamers community. I had heard their name, however i hadn't played in their server before. Of course with all the negative posts and constant accusations towards them, i had the wrong and negative impression about them when i started writing under this topic.

I met Lin, Ster, and Noobie1 admin yesterday in their teamspeak and we talked for over 1-2 hours. They are really nice people and they don't deserve any of the comments you people made to them. 1. they are not in your league, they are at least 15 years older than you. 2. They are really nice, respectful, mature, and friendly people.

I have also had a chance to play with people who use MG server constantly. I joined their squads, i talked to them over VOIP, i had a great chance to analyze their personalities and their game play strategies. I can tell you right now, of all the servers i have been in BF2, i have never seen so many nice, and more than that, so many good teamplayers (more than 1, actually more than 10!!!) in the same server. These people ask you if you want to fly the plane before get in and if you say yes, they simply step aside and let you fly. Same goes for the choppers, or tanks or any other thing. When you request artillery from a commander, 9/10 of the time, he accepts it, when you request something, such as backup, you really see 5 squad members coming to rescue you. Now you don't even see this kind of behavior from AI (bots) in the single player.

I have also realized the rules that they enfore are very logical. And for one, i will be enforcing them in our TotalBF2 servers for TotalBF2 clan. Because before and after i played in their server, i joined our server where we have map pack 3 in rotation and i couldn't have a 1 minute of fun. What i did see was the stress, aggresiveness, hostile behavior among players in my team. If having fun, and seeing the real teamplay means getting less points because you can't attack uncapturable base, so be it! I rather make 30 points instead of 120, but be a teamplayer, help others, feel the real BF2 spirit and the teamwork.

I am not planning on keeping this topic open anymore. Any unconstructive and flametory comment towards MG server, community, and personal attacks towards admin will be deleted myself as soon as i see them. If you have constructive comments (for or against their rules or how they handle the server), you can write whatever you want to, but there has been a lot of stuff that people already said here, i don't think there is anything else left to talk about. The only reason i am keeping this topic open right now is to get more feedback for the document i am preparing for the forum which will include explanation to the issues such as this.

To sum up, I, personally, apologize from MoonGamers community if in some way i have offended them, if in some way, i hurt their feelings, and more importantly, i apologize for accusing them for not handling their server in a proper way. I really like to thank them for the behavior they have displayed towards me in their server and in their teamspeak even after everything i said about them. I expect everyone here to not to make such comments without getting to know them personally. And i would like to thank them for building such a great and strong and mature community for us, the BF2 players. They sacrificed a lot of their time to be where they are right now, and they did this for nothing but to keep BF2 community happy.

Amen to that. I also hopped on their TS a couple of days ago and spoke to Lin, Noobie and a few others for quite a while.

Some of the nicest, mature people you will ever come across in the gaming community. They have a very large community that they have built up over there.

During that time we had a lot to talk about. Mostly admining stuff and the way they handle certain situations. Whilst I was there they were working on updated w/k/b reasons and making sure everyone has the same reasons. Very professional in the way they approach their servers.

I have yet to play on their server but so far it sounds like its the closest server out there to ours. Their rules whilst it will limit your score adds to the enjoyment of the game and creates an atmosphere that requires teamwork like ours do. Same as our you won't score as high on there because of the rules but the enjoyment factor will be twice as high I'm sure as it is on ours.

My hats off to Moongamers and a lot of other BF2 communities and servers could learn a lot from how these guys run servers and their community as a whole.

Great bunch of guys and gals and it was a pleasure to meet and get to know some of you. I will be back for sure for another chat from time to time and might even swing by for a few games.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Maranello, Im glad you were able to take the time to get to know us better. I apologize for not being there on Teamspeak during the time you came on, but I hope all of us have benefited from what has resulted from this extrmely long thread lol. Hoping we all can all work together in the future and continue to strive for providing quality BF2 servers and strong communities.

Hope to catch you on teamspeak sometime soon Maranello, maybe some of your collegues as well. I look foward to meeting new people and and stregthen our community relationships.

I dont like Moongamers servers much cuz usually they have tkers. To me Jetwhoring is when you hog the jet for over many maps and tk just to fly "THEIR" plane when its not. I have nothin against great pilots just the ones who would tk to fly.

Every server has those TKers and there is nothing to do to prevent them doing that except kicking/banning them. While i was playing in MG server, it happened to me too, but admins didn't hesitate to ban them once they saw them.
