As for vehicles, it would have heavy(only usable by the knights) and light cavalry, siege engines and some primitive cannons. Personally, I would love it
yes that game would be cool. if it had support for liek 250+ players

I like that idea, except you'd have to have everyone in radiation suits after all the nukes went off.

            WWI for the win!
[*] Planes werent overpowered, but they'd still be damn fun to fly, plus there wouldnt be any chutes..
[*] Just imagine the battle of Sonne with the engine that will be out at that time. Trust me, it will be karkand times 10! (If done right that is)
[*] Who wouldnt want to launch mustard gas into an enemy trench?
[*] There is enough theatres of war to make a long lasting game.
[*] How awesome would it be to shoot down an enemy Zeppeliner that crashes and burns Hindenburg style? With a graphics engine thats 2-3 years from now, THAT WOULD BE GODDAMN AWESOME!

I would like to see the Korean war done. Its a completly forgotten war. It would probably be very similar to bf42 except with simple jets. I must admit i don't know much about it myself as to what sides would be included weaponery etc. But a return to simple bf42 gameplay would be appreciated.

                Re: Where should BF3 go?

See thats what im talkin about. WAY too many WWII shooters out there and since BF2 hit stores alot of modern knock-offs have come out as well. Vietnam has been done, just not as much. But Korea, mmmm, Comon its the one war that didnt end! Just a cease fire.

How about the Korean War? There is NO game under the genre of the Korean War.

                      Bump

Most seem to want a Next Gen Modern BF3.

                        Re: Where should BF3 go?

As an owner of every single BF game and expansion, I can honestly say EA will not get another penny from me unless they bring a BF42 style game into the new engine. I am done with base raping helo's/planes and unbalanced weapons.

                        VIVA LA WWII!

Correction, There are too many crappy WW2 games already. However, there has never been a good sequel to WWII based Battlefield. :p

                              Re: Where should BF3 go?

Oh dear God don't go into the future, we already got star wars battlefront. The next battlefield should take place right here in America, the streets of our country. It vitually is a battlefield here just as it is in the middle east crime is everywhere so a Battlefield Streets (title needs to be revised) would be interesting. WWII is overrated, there are so many different kinds of WWII games...bf1942, COD, BIA, MOH, that stupid xbox360 game where you're a group of elite commandos...the list goes on.
Someone already made a Cold War game so I'd say either the GTA style Battlefield Streets or Battlefield Korea cause theres no Korean War FPS.

A planetside game would be cool, but we have ET:QW......so I say the distant future.....20 years maybe?
