people who complain are either **** or a amour whore or jet/chopper whore!
next time i see a tank or something i will leave it you guys to let him kill you!
what about arty =1 shot kill

i dont understand tell me what class u play and do u actually kill the enemy or complain to them to death sheeesh!
and i use my bullets on your ass aswell as the nubetube!
All the things you listed are not as easy to kill with, like the at rocket, and the others are just very random and not-widely available weapons, like the arty.
The people have spoken, the m203 got (over)nerfed, if you dont like it, complain like we did and hope it gets changed back.
lol suck balls to all you nooblaunching noobs. hahaha this is a great day. i got over 100 hours with assault and like 10 hours of it was with a nooblauncher. i felt dirty using it most of time and now i will feel like i can use it more as it will require SKILL which most of you noobs do not have lol good game.

Are you suggesting that it take no more skill to pull off a head shot with M95 from 150 meters, or a head shot with a G3 then it does from a noob toob, which only needs to land with in a few feet of the target? Wow, that is lame. At least most of those weapons need to at least hit their targets.
I don't mind the changes, though I would've been happier if Dice were to make it where if some guy shoots the GL at my feet and he's 3 feet away that he would die too, because as it is now he just keeps on truckin, and that's ass...
But I'm not too worried, every time I play the Assault class I rock out with my Koch out!
I am only assault for the G3 and the ammount of noob tubers its definately going to make me happy. Although about the 3 points.
1: I guess this is fine, but there isnt much need, they could just make you kill yourself if you use it too close.
2: good but not all of them use this move. Slightly bad as its handy when a FAV is racing towards you and you let him think he is going to run you over, then you jump to the side and GL him. I will miss that.
3: I guess so, but I wouldnt say it was needed.
Overall I dont care as I dont use it at all unless I want to use the M16A2 or F2000.
They could have done one of the following things:
INCREASED the blast radius, making it impossible for you to stay alive if shoot an 'at the toes' shot, or in CQC areas. Forcing people to shoot it at range.
Or made the grenades not expload on impact.
Dont really care really anything they do to it will make the game less annoying.
I thought he wanted to SOLVE the problem? Not make it worse? More people would tube if it did more damage. So what if they can't do it at close range, they'll just continually use it at medium range, would still be incredibly cheap given that killing someone would be much easier than it is now (already easy enough)

Looks like your definition of medium range is 5 feet. You're blowing the whole issue out of proportion. To you, increasing the blast radius is like giving noobs a nuclear grenade or something.
It actually does take skills to use the GL at midrange. You have to learn the trajectory in order to land the kills. At midrange, it's rather difficult for new users.
i dunno the exact details of how they are nerfing the grenade launchers but if they make it close as can be to the console game SOCOM2/3 than i will be impressed... a bit since it will be better late than never.
I would like to see some extra splash though. That would be nice for the sake of it's long range effectiveness. Would also be nice if the player got 1 or 2 less nades but anyway this is a nice well overdue addition.
And i wish this game was more about iron sights rifles and standard equpiment

Yes, it seems this game is all about splash damage, whether it's GL's, grenades, RPG's or C4. Guns take too much time and skill to use I guess.
I think all Non-assault classes should get only 1 grenade, as they all have roles and skills of their own, plus the idea of a medic running around with 5 grenades seem silly.
Give the assault guys 3 grenades, and to compensated them for the fewer nades, give them 2 extra clips of ammo. They're supposed to be shooting people, not running around as 1 man mortar units.
Let them keep their normal blast radius. Now assault will still have 3x as many nades as anyother class, extra ammo, body armor, smoke grenades/flash bangs, grappling hooks, etc. Plenty of things to set them apart from other classes, and still cut the splash damage spamming in half.
Then there might be some actual gun fights for a change.

Those are nice suggestions man, especially the grenade part.
I liked how Min. range sounds because it forces people to use the rifle as their primary weapon and pull GL when neccessary and not other way around.
But the current assault rifle just isn't worth taking this kit for imo.
However, I gotta say that i don't see how you can compare a normal rifle on 60m+ ranger to a GL, obviously a GL is requires calculating the height and placement based on enemy's movement and time until impact, while the rifle requires lining the reticule over the enemy and relying on random deviation - less predictable but a hell of a lot simpler.

lol. Speak for yourself. I never said 5 feet was my definition nor did I imply it. Close to mid-range, whatever anybody's definition may be- IS easy with the grenade-launcher. After a few rounds using it you'll have 'learned' the arc, like anything- it just takes practice. Long-range shots generally require more 'skill', but just like medium only require practice- not natural talent.

Close enough to a nuclear nub nade yes.
It actually does take skills to use the GL at midrange.
No doubt it does take some skill, but not too much. I'm not an Assault player yet whenever I Assault I still get the gold star with 2.5 KDR minimum without nubtubing(close-range/constant GL). It doesn't take much time to learn how to use it and can become very procedural.
You have to learn the trajectory in order to land the kills. At midrange, it's rather difficult for new users.
Of course it's relatively difficult for new users, as it should be. What this patch will hopefully do is make abusers of the tube actually use the guns they have. The guys I am talking about are the ones who use the tube and nothing but the tube, at close, mid and long-range. Reducing splash damage will make them more inclined to actually using their rifles instead of being total ****ers.
