Only in BF2 can you pump the solid forend of a semi auto M11 87. Or can a Marine field a US Army M24.
Only in Battlefield 2...

That happens in every game with vehicles and powerful weapons. In UT2004, it's always the retard who spawns closest to the raptor and flies in circles doing nothing or the guy who gets the redeemer and flies it around until it get shot down.Comment

The Abrams is a main battle tank, designed to fight other tanks. In real life, if an Abrams scores a direct hit, that vehicle is dead, armour or no armour, tank or no tank. But in BF2 you gotta hit the tanks a few times to silence them. It should be one hit, one kill in game.Comment

Yeah, I know incompetence is widespread. Just felt like ruffing up some feathers by rattling a few cages.

I was watching tank restorer on UK History channel the other day, mr marine was claiming to have seen a Abram which had taken 90 RPG hits and was still running fine
Only in Battlefield 2 can you tbag snipers after knifing them :PComment

I agree with CQ-REBOURN
A well trained military like USMC would ever lose against something like MEC (Which would compair with Iran).
Marines have the best marksman ship of any army in the world, and I don't wana hear stuff like SAS can because USMC has always beaten them in accuracy.
Marines have some of the best tactics (They're not better then some special forces groups though).
Also, coutries with T90s aren't well trained, so I doubt they'd win against an Abrams anyway.
F35B radio would be like this if an enemy transmitted it.
"4 Enemy J10s, 120 miles away, 11 O'clock"
"Roger I see 'em"
---
"Ok engaging"
---
"Splash one"
"Splash two"
"Splash three"
"Splash four"
---
"Hahaha a Tungsuka is trying to lock on us"
"Lets say hello"
"Ok, engaging" *Is 20 miles from him*
"He's down"
"Ok returning to base"
"Roget...following"
Bf2 version
"OMG S*** A J10 IS ON MY TAIL AHHH FLARES...I'M DEAD"
"Ok lets get back up"
"OK"
"Crap we got noobs trying to get it"
"Np we'll get planes"
---
"OK I'm up
"Me too"
"Crap, where did that come from"?
"You got raped by a Z10"
"Oh ok, lets dissconnect"
"ok"Comment

Gaaah.....A well trained military like USMC would ever lose against something like MEC (Which would compair with Iran).
Ffs... In BF2 MEC is a fictional well trained and well equipped army
Marines have the best marksman ship of any army in the world, and I don't wana hear stuff like SAS can because USMC has always beaten them in accuracy.
Does that even matter? Noone can shoot as well under fire as they do in normal condisions anyway.
Also, coutries with T90s aren't well trained, so I doubt they'd win against an Abrams anyway.
:laugh:Omg.... And you know that because..?

Why would a pilot want to attack ANTI AIR?
:laugh::laughOriginally posted by jameslcrossI was watching tank restorer on UK History channel the other day, mr marine was claiming to have seen a Abram which had taken 90 RPG hits and was still running fine

A pilot would attack Anti-Air vehicles and emplacements for the same reason you do in BF2. To remove the threat. It's the same thing as blasting one with a TVGM from outside view distance, kill it before it has a chance to kill you.Comment

Well in BF2 even if every AA is manned, they are still pretty easy to avoid and take out. Trust me, IRL AA missiles are FAR more effective than they are in BF2
Also, IRL AA vehicles dont traves alone like they often do in Bf2. Attacking one of them would be a suicideComment

We aren't talking about divebombing them. We're talking about guided munitions from miles away. We don't need to see something to take it out. I know how effective ADA is, it was part of what I did in the Army. But how many AA sites even had a chance to fire on U.S. aircraft at the beginning of this conflict? They were taken out by using SATINT and guided munitions.Originally posted by waaah_wahWell in BF2 even if every AA is manned, they are still pretty easy to avoid and take out.
