If your talking about the Gulf War or the recent war in Iraq you are right. Iraq's AA systems were easily takes out by US airforce. Thats mostly coz Iraqi AA systems were completely obsolete. But like i said, in BF2 MEC is a fictional, well equipped and trained army using modern Russian equippement.

true, the marines use the M40A3
and IRL, we wouldnt have F35's because they are not in active service yet,but if we did, they wouldnt fly around in circles solo trying to kamikazie foot soldiersComment

yea were i heard it from also they lost a few in this war to ( iraq "2")
on channel 4 once there was a documntary on the challenger 2 main battletank and it took a good beating from rpgs and one AT missile in southern iraq but still fought on with no crew injured :salute:
and if the americans lose a abrams they just blow it to bits with attack helicopters so the secret info inside wont be lost to the enemy =PComment

Gaaaaaah as in??
And yeah once the tank returned to base they always count gunshot hits ect...
It's always been like that. Like the Hellcat of WW2 was the most heavily armored and best fighter of the war. And one guy's engine was busted and he barely made it to england, meanwhile on the way he was seen by the one of the best german ace's (Damn what was the name?).
Anyway, he emptied his entire arsenal on him, and when the US pilot got to base, he started counting, he stopped at 200 bullet wholes when he didn't even more around the plane.
So yeah people do count :pComment

That was proven in the gulf war, the coilition lost hardly and tanks, and the iraquis lost over 700
Anyway, only in BF2 can you fall from 1000 feet into the water without suffering injuryComment

It wasn't that fellow whom of which got really famous flying the Stuka on the eastern front was it? The fellows name was Hans-Ulrich Rudel, and he helped design the A-10. Though Rudel did fly on the western front, just he took the JU-87 G as tank busted all over Russia later in the war.Gaaaaaah as in??
