<shrug> I don't know the extent of their effort. It was a mod that I thought, "Hmmm... sounds like an interesting idea," but then I never really followed it--mainly because as you can see by their site, they don't seem to update the public much.

Yeah, I know, and I'm sorry. It's just that lately everyone on this forum (TBF2) seems so hostile and confrontational that I've come to expect the worst by default. :) So instead of setting myself up to be flamed, I figured I'd let everyone flame the GameSpy reviewer instead. :p

nah i looked onto wikipedia and its move crouch jump. now im at some really big boss.

[EDIT] Wow i guess that was the final boss . Good game! I beat HL1 (aka the prologue). Haha i dont know if you were supposed to do that but i found these things that lauchnced me up and instead of blowing up the yellow cone/crystals i landed in his head hahah. Wow it was all downhill from there. Then i shot the crystals from inside his head (since i could walk through the "walls" of his head. Then i started attacking with my crow bar hahahah. Oh man, dunno if thats the way your supposed to do it but thats the way i discovered. Then the top of his head blew open "the final stage" and dropped 5 detenation packs in his head, jumped out, and THOOM. There he went. Now im not going to tell the end of the story because there might be ppl that want to find out for themselves. I love how you had to end the ending a certain way though...if you catch my meaning..Now! Onto Half Life 2. (Although i'll take this one much slower...

                  You dirty cheatzor! lol.

As far as i can remember - you're supposed to jump up in the air and shoot him in the head. I can't remember, lol.

Hound, did you spot the G-Man throughout the game? and what choice did you make at the end, lol!

im so ashamed thats all i can say about my end. Then i start it up from the save and chose the other path and...lol. So much for a choice :). Also hes the G-man? I thout G-man was Gordon Freeman? Yeah i did notice him and theres a funny story to go along with that. You usually see him and he goes away, well...i saw him once through a window and into a teleport he went. Died, started up, and went to the same room on accident, and he didn't move so i shot him five times in the head. Yet he was unresponsive with big black holes in his head....lol
                    You dirty cheatzor! lol.
I thought that was the way everyone did it. I must admit it was pretty fun and almost hard to stay inside his head with everything moving around!

Yeah, Half Life is excellent for the story (however complicated it may be) and the underlying G-Man presence.

yeah, i think G-Man is some kind of future evil Gordon - Gordon Freeman = Gman - but thats just an assumption.

As I say, i can't remember, lol, but i don't remember doing it that way. lol.

                        Re: Half Life series.

Is there any way to play Opposing Force and Blue Shift without the original Half-Life. I know Blue Shift can be a stand alone install but has anyone created mods for Source? I really liked playing as Corporal Shepard and I think it helped explain the story as well. The only problem was the very dodgy friendly AI and if that was fixed it would be very cool.

Does anyone else think it would be great if Shepard turned up again in Aftermath or HL3?
