Yeah. Black Hawk Down was a good example of the little bird's fire power. The gun goes so fast that all you hear is a whir. And the little missles were awsome. But it ran out of ammo and went back to rearm. I wanted it to pwn everyone.

A-10's little mini-gun is one of the best tank busters to date. It's mini-gun on the front goes fast and all you hear is a whir. Can't remember the caliber of the rounds but if you see the shells, well they're about as big as your forearm(just remembering from Mail Call). The bombs are smart bombs I believe. Single pilot cockpit and can be refueled from mid-air. K1CK@$$ :rock:

Linebacker is AA, not the Bradley. I'd like to see a Bradely Variant fitted with a guided TOW just like POE. For the counter part add the BMP-2.

i was just thinking before i reached this thread how cool it would be to have a Bradley on karkand to replace the 2nd LAV, and a bmp-2 in place for the second BTR for a bit more variety.

I'd like to see more helicopters, 1 per side just seems too little. Littlebird, more blackhawk vairants (1 to suit each map), KA-52 Alligator etc.

Shoulder fired AA kits, that you can pick up, ground Attack planes, more Hummer/Vodnik variants, Mobile artillery.

One can only hope. But knowing EA, i'm waiting for mods to come out.

When I was with Ranger Battalion we use to train with them on certain exercises. They are awesome to see live in action. The sucky part of it is being directly underneath them cause all that brass and links gotta go somewhere...after the guns finished going whir there would be about a 2 second pause then hot brass fell like rain getting in your collar and burning yer arse.

Someone mentioned Motorcross bikes, they do use those in spec ops. We had a recon company that used em. Course JSOC uses all kinds of unsual equipment that noone else uses :P.

People just need ta use 'em for actual AA instead of spamming infantry or getting owned by real armour. The number of times I've seen some guy blazing away at a tank with AA is really kinda sad. Those guns to almost nothing to tanks and will lose to 'em every time.
I really hope that when they fix the AA missiles, people wake up and realize that the Linebacker and Bradely are ANTI-AIRCRAFT vehicles!!

I think people use them as light tanks when they realize how uttterly worthless they are as AA. The missiles aren't bad, but you might as well be using your assault rifle to bring down a chopper or jet than use the main cannon on ANY AA vehicle.

As far as new vehicles, mark me down for naval stuff. Its the one area where bf2 is sorely lacking, and a US-China naval conflict is the perfect setup. I think I would actually buy a naval expansion, despite my general wariness of expansions.

heh yeah I saw that too but I let it go. Bradley is a infantry fighting vehicle. Funny thing is its actually against the geneva convention to use its 25mm gun on troops :P.
