Yes, full fledged navel combat would be seriously cool... but I doubt we're gonna see it in this engine. There's just too many problems with big movable objects.

definately the A-10. Yes it's old. But it still one of the best close support aircraft available.

I'd like to see mobile rocket launcers so the helo piolets would not know where they are. I would also like to be able to set up a 50cal on the ground instead of being mounted all the time on a hummer. I want to be able to set a 50cal up anywhere I want too.

It's not hard to imagine that the A-10 will be getting another round of upgrades in the near future. The design hasn't been surpassed when it comes to rapid responce anti-armour. Attack choppers are almost there, but they still can't match the A-10 for getting to the target fast and making it dead.

Umm... they're there.

People just need ta use 'em for actual AA instead of spamming infantry or getting owned by real armour. The number of times I've seen some guy blazing away at a tank with AA is really kinda sad. Those guns to almost nothing to tanks and will lose to 'em every time.
I really hope that when they fix the AA missiles, people wake up and realize that the Linebacker and Bradely are ANTI-AIRCRAFT vehicles!!

Actually, the "warbird" came from the Romulan battleship-class of the same name (Star Trek); but I like the penguin thing better! That is friggin' cool!

I've always wondered why they didn't put the A-10 in this game, especially since the main role of aircraft is killing off armor. Some other planes like the B-2, F-117 or F22 would also be fun, but would definitely favor USMC too much. Shoulder-fired Stinger/IGLA missles would be great (wish they put those in the game in the first place). User operated self propelled artillery should also be in the game, instead of the commander operated stationary artillery we have now. And maybe some more naval warfare (a driveable USS Essex? Battleships, subs, destroyers? Boarding and hijacking enemy ships?)

id LOVE to see an A-10!!! those things are t3h sh1t..but with most maps against MEC without planes i dont think it would really fit in....

Ah-6 would be great in maps like Karkand and Mashtuur but people would whore them instead of transporting troops, clearing the area for the troops to be dropped etc....i think most of these things were not implented into BF 2 beacuse they would be over-whored (well...same with everything else in BF 2)

I also want to see litle birds, not to many misiles on board, miniguns on board, low armor, but can manouvre like hell
