Just don't play ranked servers, all mods will be unranked anyway and there free with improved and have added new weapons content maps ect, thats all we have todo, only reason you would pay for the booster packs is to play ranked servers.

Not only would it hurt EA because people would not rent ranked servers but they would loose on the booster packs sales.

This will be a bad thing (paying just for new content), If people show other companies they are willing to pay just for new content the free updates will stop period.

Unfortunately, MMORPGs have proven that many people are willing to pay for new content. This is the way you'll see all online games go. All the developers want to find some way to make profits like WoW. Regardless of what was done in previous games, I don't expect new content with patches. I do expect support for balance and bugs. If new content is worthwhile enough I'll pay for it.
