Seeing how we can't sink the aircraft carrier anymore I say why not? I wished they made it that you could have a team of Spec Op's plant a crap load of C4's in the hull of the aircraft carrier and then they could sink it which should net them Destroying Assets points. People who stay on the carrier are freaking jet/chopper whores anyway, that refuses to use boats to go cap flags. Base raping them does everyone good, since it should force them to change their tactics not unless they're die-hard in staying on the deck to get their precious Cobra, or Jet.

also, think about this ... how many times have you been awaiting your precious little jet :nod: to respawn on the massive metal hull with no one around you for miles ... then out of the air spawns some air-horny boon :nerr: and charges at you guns ablazin ... i have spawned on the carrier a grand total of 6 times (newbie) and id say 5 out of 6 ive been tked on that ship for mostly the jets but once for the chopper ...

I whor the carrier proudly :salute: to prevent any tkin idiots from harming all you good-minded civilians aboard that vessel.

i dont mind as theres that many peps doing it now in all the servers an most teh time the god dam admins dont do siht about it so hey im all for it.
plus in war time do u think u get the commanders from each side having tea an crumpetts talkin about not base rappin each other I DONT THINK SO!

teh whole idea of teh game is to search an destroy nail teh enemy any way possible,
the added feature of the points an rank is a bonus to the game,
if there daft enough to sit on a carrier thats gettin nailed every 2 seconds good on em more points for me.
just all switch to anti tank an rush out in one go an let rip with the anti tank whilest some peps are heading for the AA simple,
why do peps moan all the time about base rap'n.
just play ur own games an stop cryin over it

Yes its moral and acceptible. The enemy was stupid enough to get shot down, if he died he shouldn't get a free chance to get back in the air. The only problem with this, is that AA is ****ing useless :P yet I still don't see anything wrong with it.

x0pht.. i dont know if you know my style, but im a JSF on wake jetwhore. my main mission is to get my ass over to the airfield and if the J-10 is still there (because people are standing in front of it and he doesnt want to take off etc) for some reason, to blow his ass up..because you know what happens if he gets behind me. and then from there i blow up the heli's and AA, and when the jet re-spawns blow it up, and in between i kill infantry waiting on the jets/helis... one game last night i was playing in the dedicated wake 24/7 server, and OFF THE BAT in the beginning of the game i had like 73 points (within about 1-2 min) and EVERYONE on chinese was getting ****ed at me.. "METALLICA YOU NOOB!" "YOU WONT EVEN GIVE US A CHANCE".... but the difference is.. they can spawn ANYWHERE else.... i just hangout by the airfield and around AA's.

so to me... it isnt fair when people rape the carrier.. but honestly.. i would too. why the hell not.. free kills! lmao

well that game.. i got a votekick against me and it was successful.. which i think is B.S. because it isnt unfair or whatever (because its not like its uncontestable... or its their last base..they are just predictable and stupid). the thing i forgot to mention, was that there were 2 J-10's in the sky that whole game... and they bitch at ME?? they should bitch at the pilots!

oh well this was pretty pointless. but my opinon is that it isnt moral... but who gives a fuck!? you arent dying and the point is to kill them, and theyre packed together so... lol

It would be ok in my eyes if the sea whiz gun on the carrier was even remotely close in performance to how it should be. That thing was originally designed to shoot down incoming missles. It should shred planes much quicker. Only rarely will you find someone who can actually use that thing decently.

Otherwise, it's pretty lame. Face me man to man in the air instead of while I'm taking off in it. It usually means you're in a J-10 or something while I'm in the handicapped JSF anyways. What could you possibly be afraid of. Even an average pilot in a J-10 should be able to take down a good pilot in a JSF.

Once the first pilot gets shot down (it could have been some new player who just happened to make it there first), you guys actually thinks it's ok to keep the planes grounded the rest of the map?

You say that they are all morons for trying to get a plane and should go cap flags. Well, in any battle, you need air support if the other team has got good air support so someone has to try to get a plane or two in the air...if for no other reason than to harass the guys doing the bomb runs or to take out that attack helicopter that has your squad pinned down.

Base raping carriers is for people too scared to go air to air with someone. It's usually someone of lesser skill afraid to get shot down. But, it will continue regardless of what I say.

And to whoever said go steal the other teams jet. How do you suppose you do that if they have all their jets in the air and you can't shoot them down?

The bottom line is, it's a lack of sportsmanship. Yes, I realize games there for entertainment and people enjoying winning. Sports are the same way. People enjoy winning. But even my 8 year old son knows to high five the other team at the end of a soccer game.

yea but what if the pilot just wants to keep the opponent pilots off the sky? is it unfair to not let ur opponents have a chance to get in the jets?

lol if I am camping on the carrier deck, waiting for a ride then I EXPECT to be attacked by enemy jets. That's what we have the two AAs on the Essex.
If I'm mec/china, I'll usually make a attack pass over the carrier once or twice, see how many ppl are waiting for plane/helo. This serves as some sort of warning.
If I see many people on deck, I will drop hell on them - especially when they have other spawn points on the map where they can spawn.
If the carrier is their last spawn point I will not drop any bombs, and let the enemy jets take off.
Raping the last uncappable base is not fun. But as soon as they capture another base their home-base is no longer a safe harbour.

So I believe it is morally ok to attack the carrier, as well as other uncappable flags. As long as there is another spawn point open.

Some people might say, then why are you not leaving the uncappable base alone, and instead attack the capped flag?
Then I can ask, why are you spawning at the uncappable if you still have a capped flag somewhere else? Because you want to get into a Tank/apc/jet/chopper and kill my teammates. And I'm going to do anything necessary to keep you from doing this.
