i just thought up of this after playing a round filled with a bunch of nading whores. All they would do is bunny hop side to side while reload, any even dolphin hop. in that 1 round, i was killed by 15 nades, 2 tanks, and 3 "jump, turn, spray, yay headshot".
grenade launchers would be MUCH more balanced if there was deviation implemented (less acurate while moving, VERY inaccurate while jumping).
this will make grenade launchers fit their grenadier role, instead of a CQB weapon.
when you jump, the grenade will launch in a random direction, etc etc
Here's an idea: cover and concealment.
Stop running in the open.
I can accept the "arcade" argument to a certain point but the hopping and noob tube antics is just getting tiresome. I have no problems with fightling back but that's not the point. I often see players who doesn't even switch to rifle mode after firing the first grenade. They just hop around waiting for the reload to finish.

Couldn't the same thing be said for Spec-Ops? They tend to hop around throwing down C4... also, most classifications hop around reloading.
Once again, this all seems to be a "Bunny-Hopping" and "Dolphin Diving" issue more than an M203 issue. Back off of it already, quit trying to gimp assault because it's dominate in regards to assaulting. This argument would be equal to people complaining that the Tanks are too powerfull vs. APCs, when they are SUPPOSED to be.
But, I digress. I've said it before, I'll say it again. If EA balances EVERYTHING in favor of realism, I don't see a problem with nerfing the M203 arming distance, but, until then. It needs to stay so that assault can remain the dominate Infantry kit.
The GL is a life saver in some situations. Before I knew it, a MEC Spec Ops was crouching and gunning me down with the AK-47 behind my back (only 1/4 health left at this point). I made a quick hop in addition to fragging him with a M203 and ended the whole thing.
I'm sure the player got quite angry over it. Just after his death, the server gave him a warning for offensive language.
well, in real life, people dont move side to side really fast with nade launchers. 9 times out of 10 they are standing still. So why not move REALLY slow when holding a nade launcher? Also, the 10 meter activation range like in americas army. Also, make it have more splash dammage. One more thing ea, gimme a lemonade.
