Yes, you have to have the Special Forces expansion in order to unlock the F2000. And no, it is not overrated. It's well worth it. :)

Goto to your local net cafe or such, make sure they have SF. Log into SF with your account, play for 10 mins, unlock your weapons, delete account off the computer. Enjoy. Don't need to buy to get them.

Same as all weapons you need to learn how to use them effectively. I find its a great gun mainly because of the recoil or lack of it. It's accurate has decent stopping power and is pretty hard to beat. I still like the AK-101 but I also like the F2000.

The scope is so, so. At long ranges it can be a pain to aim effectively, again its something that takes some getting use to. I do prefer it to the iron sights though for most occasions

The F2000 is an uber weapon.

it has enough power to take someone down with one headshot
3 shots of it and enemy is down
it's prety acurate
and it has a good scope
this in combination with a 30 bulet clip

seems to me it's a freakin good weapon

I'm a huge fan of the AK-101, its the best medic gun by far, but I've found that I've had AMAZING luck with the f2000

I find the flash bang spam at some locations to be to good. But for the F2000 it's self it just has a nice scope which makes life easyer for firing. If they had the m4a1's lil red dot attachment or a 4x scope on the m16 i would end up using the m16 a lot more but since i'm not very fond of it's iron sights i will mainly be using the L85A1 for medic and i don't play assault that much as USA.

I actually prefer the M16 over the F2000. I like 3-round burst a little too much, I think.
