Nice non-biased poll, I am assuming you just got your ass bombed by a few jets.

Maybe you could have put the first option as 'I have no skill and can't seem to figure out how to get in a jet and shoot the other team down'. At least that would have sounded more fair in the poll if you kept the second option the same, or you could have stepped up and just put the last option as 'No, jets should be a part of the game, just fix the AA'

What you should be bitching about, is the lack of talented pilots that know how and want to shoot other jets out of the sky. I find that there is a very small amount of people that actually know how to really dogfight in the jets and only concentrate on bombing because it reaps you big rewards and a ****ty ass e-medal. For anyone to truly consider themselves a good pilot in this game, they need to be able to accomplish both aspects of the jet sufficiently, and that is where the canyon between a very good pilot and an average run of the mill pilot is carved, and that is a very wide canyon with very few people on the very good side.

And you could also bitch about the lack of proper ground AA to take on the jets, maps like Oman should have at least one mobile AA unit and some stationary ZPU type AA guns.

True, bombers dosnt require any skill, but they cant make you cry to your mommy either, anybody in a jet who does send you to your mommy have skill you can only dream of. (Or perhaps you should demonstrae how you can easily replicate Pleanewhore's video, even if it didnt include any air-to-air)

Also, those who voted Jets should be removed will proberly vote to have choppers or tanks removed, as they kill infantry just as badily as jets.

In other words, removing jets from the game is the same as voting lets all turn BF2 into CS.

Yeah I would find the game more enjoyable if there were no more damn jets.Playing Karkland,Sharqi,and Mastuur gets old sometimes.

Are you kidding me the game battlefield 2 is based in near future combat, planes such as the f-35 which are still in development will become the new joint strike fighter ,it,and many other planes will play an essential role in warfare rermoving planes will falsely depict war , the game right now features a lack of a near accurate air power. planes such as the f-117or the b-1 should be included

Personally I ignore the jets... I fight on the ground mainly and on foot alot so Jets don't really figuring into my thinking too much... Sure you occasionally bombed out of the blue, but the same can be said of arty and you know, sh!t happens, it is the Modern battlefield.

But the fact is the jets can't cap and the can;t defend flags against infantry... Let them go play with each other, one less defender to deal with...

learn to shoot AA, or get on a jet and shoot them down, if you suck at both, leave the map with jets and stop your crying and play

no skill to bomb but some skill to be able to loose an enemy fighter jet, or even worse take out a fighter jet with a bomber

then people complain about tank whores, why you think the bomber is there for?
