Would BF2 be a better game without jets?

I personally hate jets. They're practically invincable, and just fly back and forward bombing you over and over. If there's one thing I've always hated in a game, it's being killed by something that's completely beyond your control. Also why I'm not a fan of artillery.

I think every vehicle in this game is well balanced, useful, and fits, except the god damn jets. What do y'all think?

It would be a better game with a different implementation of jets, but I'd hate to see them go away completely.

if bf2 didnt have jets or heli's, I wouldnt even have bought it.

I was pretty satisfied with the gaming style of cs, and the graphics of Far Cry.

BF2 would be better if DICE could actually balance AA & jets. I've played 20 mins of BF2 SF so far and it's refreshing so far. No air cheese and mainly infantry battles.

btw, i dont think flying jets takes no skills, even if it's overpowered or whatever you think it is, u always need skills to master the flying. in other words, practice and experience. just try it, if u cant fly them well, then it does need skills as u will see. if u do fly them well and own others in jets, then u should know that it's not easy to be a good pilot, cuz i believe it did take u some time to be a good pilot.

By the way, your 2 poll options clearly show a bias in the questioning. They indicate that the pollster is biased against aircraft, so you're not going to get a very good data set. You should have stuck with the question "Should planes be removed, yes or no?" I will not answer in this poll because neither of the answers covers the other end of the spectrum.

I don't agree with taking them out of the game....just remove the Noob Targeting Bombing Boxes that they have showing them where every enemy occupied vehicle is and make the pilots use their brain a little bit.

They can keep the Air to Air boxes.
