Where does it say he entered into a contract with his customers?

I wonder if this is why PB has been taking so long to do any major banning, they might have been working on a way to bring this hack pack down once and for all.

I dont feel sorry for those ****ers who got hard banned...they wanted the advantage of cheating and didn't want to improve their skill. Maybe that'll learn'em. I would actually like to see EVERY online game that comes out use PB, so those guys will be hard banned from competative play all together across all games.

What exactly would it take to get around a hard ban? New motherboard? What is the definition of a hard ban?
A hardware ban affects only your hard drive and nic. That's it, nothing else. So if a person was hardware banned they would only need a new hard drive and nic plus a new copy of BF2.

good idea, showing this to ppl, make them think twice about cheating, why can't ppl just play games without cheats or hacks, and if you do, you will be found out and exposed. As this guy did, sucked in Maz , your about to be in a world of hurt

          Which adds up to ~$200
          Good deal!
So they pay ~$50 to get the cheat and ~$200 for new hardware/game!
plus ~$50 for the old game... and who knows what else!

Those guys are just losers. If I were the guardian of one of those idiots then I will lock him in a closed room with nothing in it because they are irresposible (sounds like Bush talking to the Dems! sorry!)

$200 for new hardware if you're stupid. Hard drive $40 (jeez you don't have to buy a new W/D Raptor 74GB) and nic $15 = $65. But I agree it's still an expensive way to get a better score. And as far as "and who knows what else!", that's it nothing more. Oh and one last thing Bush is a moronic puppet.

Those people who paid $100 for a cheat deserve to lose their money and get banned. Talk about big time losers! They paid more for the cheat than they did for the game.
Here's a free cheat site for you

I think I counted a motherboard and that is how I got the $200 estimate. Anyway... let them pay! they do not deserve to enjoy that money on something else.

Re: Thinking of Cheating? Think Twice!

i just got done reading it and i was wondering, what's gonna happen to those poor suckers that got hardware banned on ALL punkbuster games? hypothetically speaking, what if i were to cheat in BF2 and got HW banned from all PB games, what would happen if i bought a new game with PB and online functionality? they can't deny me access to a game that i never cheated in and that i paid good money for. they must be joking if they think they can get away with this garbage. forget about the fact that they're cheaters for a second and think of them as consumers. if you crashed your hooptie and bought a brand new car and were told that you can't open the locks on it, what would you think? (provided you didn't lose your license or anything)

anyway, i'm glad they nailed this bastard. however, the law needs to get involved in this as this is clearly a scam.
Something similar happens in the job market all the time. People commit crimes and then have trouble finding ANY JOB. Did they commit crimes in the office of the job they are applying for? No. Does that give us any half-way-valid reason to say that they only commit crimes while working for one company? Absolutley not. And if you want to sympathize (or empathize?) with the scum ruining everyone's gaming experience, I can comfort you by saying there are non-punkbuster servers on battlefield.

come to think of it, since Sony's rootkit DRM can be used to cheat in WoW, could it be possible for cheaters to utilise it to cheat in BF2 as well?

No it wasn't you moron. If I was cheating I would have been owned in the massive bans that sweeped the public cheat forums n ****. I am still here, infact I just got my highest kills in a row, went from 76 to 95 this morning. SO stfu.

Like I’ve always said when I kill someone I want to know it was me that did it and not some cheat, what’s the point of playing. I suppose it separates the kids from the adults and its must be even sweeter if the player cheating is getting killed all the time even with all the advantage.

Anything that stops cheats I’m right behind, I don’t mind getting killed when the player uses skill and thought out the kill.
