it amazes me that threads like this go on forever ... some people are drivers and others are passengers ... some race on foot and some drive cars/motorcycles ..... if you are weak and insecure enough to not mix it up .. then you are a weenie little whore

if you are more worried about your stats than learning the full spectrum of the game .. then you are a weenie little whore

there are so many variations and everyone perspective is different ... if you suck as a foot soldier and can be an effective TEAM player with armor, so be it ... if you can do both well then by all means do both.

Point is you have to at least make the effort to become a well rounded player so you can become what the squad needs at any point in the game .. spawn and switch kits to get done what needs to be done

Tank whoring is a personnaly who is perminatly in a tank and is actually good at it, however it doesn't take long to get good in a tank, they then re-spawn when they die and take the tank again.

I have no problem with that, what i do have a problem with is people sitting in untakable bases doing it.

My main complaint about it is that whoring stops other people mixing it up and having a bit more fun, I like to play a real mixture of things during the night as I imagine most people do.

I've heard this excuse before, he's good at the tank so he has a right to whore, I say bull sh*t....other people have just as much right to have a go at the tank/apc etc...

I get so fed up, getting into a vehicle, only to have some tank whore there whenever you get blown up waiting to take the vehicle off of you because basically...they think the tank is their personal property.

What is wrong with using a tank all the time if you're good at it?? Are you supposed to handicap yourself if you're too good? Sheesh, poor sports I tells ya.

And for future reference, here's the criteria for determining whether someone's a "Tank Whore":

You're running around, when all of a sudden "tnkwhr" kills you with a M1A2 tank. Fair enough. You respawn, when all of a sudden, "tnkwhr" kills you again. Now, "tnkwhr" has killed us twice with a tank, thus we can legitimately call him/her a tank whore.

The moral: Don't grief someone for being better than you.

Whats wrong about using a tank "all" the time is that it stops others using the tank "some" of the time...its not that difficult to grasp is it?

Spawn camping in a tank isn't bad, especially because when you spawn camp, you usually have almost no infantry support to take out the guys with the C4 and the rockets. Its just planes that are unfair. They're invulnerable to most anything.

Tanks can be pretty annoying on Karkand, but I seem to manage, and I try to feed the enemy some of their own medicine.

Btw Copenhagen is pretty cool. Someone stole our rented bikes last time I went there though... I knew we should have locked them up on the rack again... I'm pretty sure I played in the boomtown there.

i would say im a tank whore. but i can aslo whore it up in many other aspects of the game.

if i grab a tank and die then hell yes im going to spawn and try to grab it again. i am not going to just leave the area and leave a tank to possibly sit empty just waiting for enemy forces to come along and take it.

i see way to many people do just that very thing. take a tank die in it then go somewhere else and leave the tank for the enmy to come a get. i dont do that ,so yes i will wait for the tank to spawn again after i die in it.


i also dont try to cap flags in my tank. im a support vehicle and i use it as just that. i pound shells into the enemy the base i kill people that are spawning before they can kill me with their rockets. i hit the enemy base hard with every dirty trick i know so that my infantry can take the base.


i use the tank the way it was made for. i dont care if someone calls me a tank whore so be it. im good in a tank and i help my team win thats all that matters to me. the enemy have a choice they can spawn at another base,but no they choose to just keep coming at the same spawn point so yeah im gonna kill em again until we take the base.

i spend alot of time trying to take down tanks and they are very, very frustrating. now if i just spawn 3 times in an attempt to take down 1 tank and a minute after the first tank died another tank with the same driver come rolling back in, i get annoyed...of course i wouldent tell them they're a tank whore because someone needs to get the tank...damnit though im just gonna die a bunch of times and once the tank is about to die you jump out with full life and shoot me with a rifle or grenade launcher. yeah, tanks are annoying.

So the obvious thing to do is hate the guy whose in the tank? HUH? Just go get a tank for yourself! It's not all that hard if you know where they spawn.

Hell, most people don't even trouble themselves to get armor on Karkand... just spawn at the back base at the beginning of the round (or anytime during the round for that matter) and there's 2 APC's and a tank just sitting there, and half the time only one or two people spawn there. Everyone wants to get in on the meat grinder.

The problem with this community is people always want to blame someone else instead of taking matters into their own hands. The enjoyment of you get out of this game is what you make of it. This is one of the most fun games I've played in a while. But some people let others ruin the experience for them. I'm not one of those people.

That's the thing exactly. But nothing we AT can do. Try, try again. Untill these moron's at EA/DICE w/e fix the spawning issue's.
