We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Well, no offense really, as i've seen real tank whores (people who get 5 points in a round without their beloved tank). BUt just bringin it to attention (yours and others) your stats say, about 1/3 of all your time spent in BF2 is in a tank, and over 2/3 of your kills are in armor, and your k/d ratio in a tank is insanely high (a good thing, unless you're just spawnraping and having NO attempt at all to cap the flag, that also means when nobody on your team is making an effort to cap a flag as well).
puglous: ok i agree with the "help team" thing...but again...many times i save lives for killing an opponent who is shooting at my mates. and yea i hate hackers..hacking is to lame..
ok you also have right with the "real war"...i know bf isnt a real war....i just want to show people, who are complaining all the time, that war isnt so easy as a game and that they should appreciate that they can spawn again and having a chance to get rid off the tank...
Eagle: its: Dein deutsch ist besser als mein englisch...translated: my german is better than your english...
Eddy: thanks for the compliment ...i never stand still with my tank...and if i do it is only for a couple of sek...i never base rape or standing still in a corner and waiting for foes....and if i do the things then there is only one flag left...AND if im not standing near the flag, to cap, it means that it is to dangerous or impossiple to get there...

Yeah, i hate hackers, i head shot them 4 times in a M24 (not 100% sure they are headshots, but they are really close to the head if not) and they're not a medic who can heal themselves. It gets really annoying, also annoying is hackers that spawn right outta nowhere.

Are you talking to me? Because if you are and want proof I'm not a spawnkiller look at my relativley high amount of flag defends.

I was wrong, you're quite a good listener. To add to my last post:
I have no problem with whores (aka specialists). But I would define a whore as someone who goes out of their way to get a tank/jet/heli (for example, spawns at the back base because it has a tank instead of on the front lines)
If you had the choice between a rifle and a tank to take into a fight... wouldn't you rather have the tank?
It's just common sense. Anyone who goes in with less than what is available just increases their chances of death. If you think about it, if that person doesn't spawn in the rear to pick up the tank again, it just leaves a tank sitting there... or worse... the enemy to use.
If someone is using the tank, I fight on the ground. If the tank is open, I use the tank... I don't see why people complain about it.
Theres PLENTY of ways to kill someone in a tank. Adapt and overcome.
Tankwhoring, planewhoring, anythingwhoring, is just a label average players use for those they cannot outsmart or outmanuever to defeat them.
Grimm: hehe nice stats...wait till you got some more time on the field..then you will have som amazing score
Puglous: ok most times i spawn at the back base to get a tank...but only when i really suck at playing infantry...but when i play good as soldier im dropping the tank...

If you've figured out a way to "outsmart", "outmanuever" or in any way reduce your odds of getting killed by a plane, I'd like to hear it. But with tanks, there are quite a few ways. If you can figure out a way to get close to them or above them, they're dead.
2) BF2 is by no means realistic, and most comparrisons to real life are pointless.
3) It is not played like a real war, because (not through personal experience) War in its-self is not a pleasent and fun thing to do.
4) Your missing the main point of video games. Their supposed to be Fun.
Its not fun when you spawn and get killed a second later constantly. Its not fun, when your run at a tank with C4, and the driver is looking on outside view and sees you do it.
Yes but you can kill infantry easier, you have your main gun, with a large splash damage for around corners and your MG. I have a 5.5mm bullet.
And generally all the AT guys are all too busy rocket sniping.
Maybe if your sitting next to countless alleyways on Karkand.
When your sitting in the middle of an open field in Zatar Wetlands, no.
Your Dutch right? Copenhagen? Your English is better than my Dutch

Find a roof to hide under.
Use AA vehicles properly.
Get in a plane and shoot him down.
Keep him from being able to take off.
Fly your chopper like a lunitic (my specialty ).
When you die in the tank, do you spawn then run and grab a tank or apc again? That's Tank Whoring IMO. Get out of your steel box, pick up a rifle and let someone else get a few free points
Its this moronic train of thought that helps come up with terms like Tank Whores.
When I play, I HOPE my team has an apc whore, a tank whore, etc... Its critical to winning... Example - lets use Karkand. Ever been in the middle of a fight, dealing with infantry, see the enemies T-90, then hear your M1A1 roll up behind you only to notice that its now in enemy hands? Or better yet, I can't tell you how many times I've commanded on USMC and had to get one of my clanmates in TS to spawn back at our base just to put the tank/apc to use since it was sitting unused in our spawn.
The tank whore will make sure the vehicle is put to good use... The casual player will use it a round or two, then bail on it in frustration after he gets C4'd yet again. Given the spawn location of most of the armor in this game, its a good idea to have someone dedicated to using it throughout the round. Otherwise, it goes without being used, or ends up in the hands of the S.O. player that just visited your main to blow the commander's assets.
Sure, there has been plenty of times I've wanted a helo or tank only to see several people waiting for it....I'll just get in a jeep and join the battle on foot. But at least I'll do so knowing that I'll be getting back up from the tank / helo / apc I was trying to use....
