While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.

The browser might freeze up a lot,a lot of blue screens of death and many more problems. The problems might not be enough to make you wait, but after buying all the other BF Series, im going to wait on this one.
I will not buy the SF expansion. This is characteristic of EA. They rush an overpriced product that is buggy, poorly tested, and a total lack of customer support. Patches take weeks, even months to release, and that does not guarantee a real fix. And here's a little tip about patches:
If a company has to patch a game within 3 months of a release, that means that you paid too much for an incomplete product.
For those of you who are "bored with BF2 already", I suggest you try or wait for some mods. If vanilla BF2 is too boring for you, try the PRMM (Project Reality Mini-Mod). It's more challenging and truly rewards the skilled players.
As for me, I'm going to use the off time in the holidays to work on my HL2 mod. :)

I won't be buying it because I'm not as gullible as the rest of the people playing BF2.
I just think it's pathetic people get all excited and willing to pay money just because special forces are involved.
Shame hardly any of the Special Forces teams look like special forces.
I just think it's for the kiddies to play with Ziplines and ooooo night vision.Which has been around in games for years and it's never anything cool it's just dark and green.wow.
At least it migh get rid of all the kiddie noobs who like to bunny hopper and use a noob tube all the excitement over an Apache will be too much for them so might free up room for decent BF2 players
I'm not, it looks completly crap, hardly any new features at all, the high percentage of the new vehicles don't have weapons or will ahve weapons that are useless again anything, they are trying to make BF2 into a stealth game and it's just funny.
I'll be doing the wait and see thing.
I've been telling all my friends to do likewise.
They gotta make it worth it for it to be worth it, yeah?
Personal reservations:
Night mission. Flayling around in the dark isn't much fun. What's the point of it when everyone will get nightvision anyway? Whooo... everything is green! I can see that getting old in about five minutes.
Design oddnesses. Why give only one class teargas, but give EVERY class the counter to it (gasmask)?
No new gametypes. I would have bought an expansion JUST for new gametypes... but alas, there are none to be had.
Track Record. EA doesn't release things that are good ta go outta the box. I'll be waiting for atleast one post-SF patch before thinking about buying it.
I have pr-ordered it and theres nothing you cry babies can do to stop me playing :laugh:
In truth i feel a bit sorry for the people not buying it, after all even if it sucks its only $25 and i expect its more to do with them having no money in the run up to christmas and feeling the need to cite the whole "EA EATS BABIES!!!" thing. I spend more then that on coke during a weeks playing
Most ganes these days have a patch at more or less release day to whoever cited that as an excuse, certainly all the major titles.
Yeah im looking forward to the Mods as well, but until then i would buy any cheap expansion like this one. The BF2 player numbers are healthy enough to support some diversity as well.
Some people take the "i hate EA" line too far and i still can't believe some (only some) players wont buy it simply because of the fact EA PRODUCED it! Fair enough for the people that dont want pure infantry maps but has anyone seen a rational post AGAINST the mod?
